Join now >Mike Gesicki doesn’t catch a pass in Week 2.
Gesicki wasn’t targeted against the Jets, but Ryan Tannehill threw only 23 passes in the win. Gesicki has touchdown upside, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups for now.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is out for Week 3.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer says Cook will not play versus the Bills this weekend. Cook’s injury was called a cramp last Sunday, but it’s clearly not that, so the second-year back should be considered week-to-week for now. Hopefully we see Cook back at practice next week, but we’ll update you on his status. Latavius Murray will carry the load for Minnesota in Week 3 against the Bills, and he’s immediately an excellent option in all fantasy lineups. If Murray is somehow available in your league, pick him up.

Patrick DiMarco catches 24-yard pass in Week 2 loss.
The fullback couldn’t keep his feet on a back-shoulder ball from Josh Allen, and it was his only reception of the game. He can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Jack Doyle (hip) is out for Week 3.
Doyle did not practice this week, so he’s been ruled out ahead of the weekend. This means Eric Ebron might play close to the full game against the Eagles on Sunday, putting him in backend TE1 consideration. Consider Doyle questionable for Week 4 against the Texans.

Jonathan Williams gets one carry in Week 2.
Williams’ lone touch against the Browns went for -1 yard. He’s not a reliable fantasy option at the moment.

The Colts have ruled Marlon Mack (foot/hamstring) out for Week 3.
This one is a bit of a surprise, as Colts head coach Frank Reich indicated Mack was fine after getting banged up in Week 2 against the Redskins. However, he didn’t practice the last two days, and he’ll now miss his second game of the season. Mack is also listed on the injury report with a foot injury, so it’s unclear if that’s more of an issue than his hamstring at this point. Rookie Jordan Wilkins will start and could get 15+ touches against the Eagles.

Charles Clay caught two passes for 29 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
Clay didn’t record a catch in the opener, but he and Josh Allen connected a couple times in Week 2. The veteran will hopefully step up on an offense that needs playmakers, especially next week in Minnesota after the Vikings allowed 90+ yards to George Kittle and Jimmy Graham to open the season. He’s worth a look as a TE2 option.
