Jarvis Landry catches five passes in Week 2.

Landry was targeted seven times against the Saints, gaining 69 yards on his five receptions. The good news is Landry is locked in as Cleveland’s top receiver with Josh Gordon on his way out the door. Landry faces the Jets this Thursday to kickoff Week 3.

Nick Chubb handles two touches in Week 3 win.

Chubb rushed twice for six yards in the 21-17 victory over the Jets, though one of them came inside the ten-yard line on Cleveland’s game-winning scoring drive, and he almost powered into the end zone. Still, Carlos Hyde (23 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns) came in and finished things off win a one-yard score, and the veteran is clearly the back to own in Cleveland. Right now, Chubb is just an elite handcuff.

9/20/18 - 11:52 PM ET

Josh Allen shows flashes in first career start.

Allen completed 18/33 passes for 245 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, also adding eight rushes for 32 yards in a 31-20 loss to the Chargers. The rookie made some ill-advised throws, including an interception that he tossed on the run into traffic, but he didn’t have much help behind a sub-par offensive line with a lack of talent at receiver. Overall, Allen absorbed five sacks, and he escaped others based on his individual playmaking ability. Unfortunately, a difficult matchup in Week 2 will only be followed up by the toughest one imaginable as the Bills head to Minnesota next Sunday, so Allen should remain on the bench or waiver wire for now.

Terrelle Pryor catches one pass in Week 3.

Pryor caught a deep in route for 25 yards on the final drive of the game for the Jets as they tried to get in position for a game-winning touchdown with under a minute to go in the game. Pryor is more of a real-life asset for the Jets as a receiver that mixes in on offense than he is someone that’ll help your fantasy team right now.

Duke Jonson Jr. gets five touches in Browns’ loss.

Johnson had three carries for three rushing yards and two receptions for seven receiving yards against the Saints. Johnson simply hasn’t been very involved in the offense to this point, catching just three passes in two games. He’s just a weaker FLEX in PPR leagues at the moment.

Carlos Hyde helps carry Cleveland to their first win since 2016.

Hyde rushed 23 times for 98 yards and two scores, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter as the Browns topped the Jets, 21-17. He also caught two passes for five yards. Cleveland’s clear starter handled all but four of the carries out of the backfield, and despite an inefficient start to the season, that won’t be changing anytime soon after a strong performance. Hyde should get a boost with Baker Mayfield in the lineup because he’s willing to challenge defenses more than Tyrod Taylor, so he’s closer to an RB2 than FLEX option for Week 4 against the Raiders.

Antonio Callaway scores first career touchdown in Week 2.

Callaway caught a 47-yard deep ball for a touchdown late in the game against the Saints, and overall he had three receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown, along with two caries for seven rushing yards. With Josh Gordon set to be released or traded by the team, Callaway is locked into a huge role moving forward. The talented rookie receiver has upside as a pickup in fantasy leagues.
