Join now >Cody Core (back) is inactive against the Bengals.
This was expected as Core was listed as doubtful for the game after he also missed Week 1. Hopefully Core can get back on the field soon.

The Eagles re-signed Kamar Aiken.
Aiken spent the summer with Philadelphia but did not make the 53-man roster. He’ll be a contributor on special teams and offense, but his role won’t be big enough to offer reliable fantasy value.

DeAndre Washington (knee) was limited in practice.
Washington was also limited yesterday. It’s worth noting he did post a picture on social media that seemed to hint he’d be back this week, but he might not be active if Oakland doesn’t want to use four running backs. We’ll update you on Washington’s official injury status for the game tomorrow.

The Raiders are re-signing Martavis Bryant, according to multiple reports.
Reports have just begun to emerge about Bryant re-signing with Oakland after they released him ahead of 53-man roster cuts, and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said they are signing him to a one-year deal with the expectation of him playing this week against the Broncos. Bryant probably isn’t going to have a huge role, but he’ll be a situational deep threat that should help open things up for everyone else on offense. Bryant’s presence is a boost for Derek Carr, who struggled to get much going down the field last night against the Rams. A suspension is still looming for Bryant, but the Raiders will apparently take him on the field for as long as he’s available.

Brandon Lafell (back) was a full participant in practice.
Lafell was limited yesterday, but he’s fine to play Sunday against the Broncos. However, there’s a chance Lafell remains inactive as he continues to learn Jon Gruden’s offense. Lafell would not be a recommended fantasy option if he’s active.

Pete Carroll says Chris Carson has separated himself at running back.
We thought this was the case during the preseason, but the team gave first-round rookie Rashaad Penny an even workload Sunday against the Broncos. Carson outperformed Penny on the ground; and Carroll says he “really took the lead at the position,” and that they’ll still use Penny but will not have the type of backfield split they did to open the season. This opens the door for Carson to be a 15-20 carry guy moving forward, which makes him an excellent fantasy option in all formats.

Marshawn Lynch (shoulder) was a full participant in practice.
There wasn’t much doubt, but Lynch is officially ready to go for Week 2 against the Broncos. You can insert him into fantasy lineups as a FLEX option, but he’ll likely need a score to deliver value in lineups. The Raiders are basically a committee backfield.
