Join now >Marquise Goodwin leaves game with apparent right knee injury.
Goodwin’s knee collided with a defending as he was running a drag route, and he immediately went down and stayed down for a few minutes before hobbling to the sideline. Hopefully it’s just a bruise, but there’s a chance it’s something more serious. We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

The Browns plan to get Josh Gordon around 20 snaps today, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Mortensen notes that the snaps would be “enough to do damage.” We would bet the over on 20 snaps, but the Browns are likely to feature Gordon whenever he is on the field. Gordon is a risk in Week 1, but he obviously has a lot of upside given his talent level.

Kalen Ballage is inactive for Week 1.
Ballage missed some time this preseason with a concussion, but it’s still a slight surprise that he’s inactive. Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore were set to handle most of the backfield work regardless, though. The narrative that Drake’s role was at danger because of Ballage can certainly be put to rest now.

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is inactive for Week 1.
The fourth-round rookie receiver will have to wait to make his NFL debut for the Texans. With Will Fuller also out with a hamstring injury, the Texans are thin at receiver to open the year.

Cameron Meredith is inactive for Week 1.
With Austin Carr starting in the slot for New Orleans, it appears Meredith is a healthy scratch to open his Saints career. Meredith could certainly work his way into a large role and make an impact for the Saints, but he doesn’t need to be owned in fantasy leagues for now.

Ronald Jones is a healthy scratch for Week 1.
Jones didn’t have a great preseason, and the Bucs have decided to make him inactive to start his career. The rookie running back has potential and should work his way into a nice role for Tampa Bay this season, but he doesn’t need to be rostered at the moment.

DeVante Parker (finger) is officially out for Week 1.
This has been fully expected since early in the week, but now it’s official. This is just a waiting game for Parker, as his finger must heal to the point where he can catch the ball before hs is able to play for the Dolphins.
