Join now >The Titans placed Brian Hill on injured reserve.
Hill was injured late in last night’s preseason game, and now his season is over unless he’s released from the team’s injured reserve at some point. The former Falcon is now off the redraft radar.

J.K. Dobbins (knee) is out for the season with a torn ACL, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
This was the fear when Dobbins badly hyperextended his knee while taking a hit to the leg last night. The second-year running back appeared prime for a big season in a run-heavy Ravens attack, but he’ll now undergo surgery and will rehab to work his way back to full strength for the start of the 2022 season. Gus Edwards is set to lead the Baltimore backfield, but the team is almost certain to add a veteran option to the position—free-agent Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon or Latavius Murray via a trade, stand out as potential options for the Ravens.

Irv Smith Jr. is undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says the exact timetable is to be determined, but obviously he’ll be out for Week 1. This is tough to hear for a young player that was looking to have a breakout season as the clear No. 1 tight end for the Vikings, but hopefully he doesn’t miss too much of the season. The potential return date for Smith should be known after surgery.

T.Y. Hilton suffered a multi-week injury.
[UPDATE: It is an upper back/neck injury for Hilton, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.] It sounds like Hilton will be out for Week 1 with what’s currently being called an “unspecified” injury by Stephen Holder and Zak Keefer of The Athletic. More information on the exact nature and extent of the veteran receiver’s injury should become available in the next day or so.

J.K. Dobbins suffers apparent knee injury in preseason game against Washington.
Dobbins was tackled on a screen pass and then held his knee before being helped off the field without putting any pressure on his leg. This doesn’t look good right now, but we just have to hope for good news on the second-year running back. The Ravens had expressed interest in adding to the running back room earlier this year, so we’ll see if there’s any action there. For now, Gus Edwards profiles as a potential workhorse runner in 2021.

Sam Ehlinger (knee) is out for five-to-six weeks.
Ehlinger fortunately won’t need surgery after getting injured in the Colts’ final preseason game, but we would assume he’s a strong candidate for the PUP list. This news would lock in Jacob Eason as the Week 1 starter if Carson Wentz (foot) isn’t able to get cleared.

The 49ers have signed River Cracraft.
Cracraft should suit up for tomorrow’s preseason finale and try to impress enough to make the roster—and it will help that he’s familiar with Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
