Join now >The Steelers signed wide receiver Trey Griffey.
Griffey is the son of Hall of Fame outfielder Ken Griffey Jr., and he was undrafted last year before being on a couple of teams throughout the year. Pittsburgh has a deep receiving group, but Eli Rogers is set to become a free agent, and there could be other moving parts. Griffey should have a real shot to make the final roster if he gets an opportunity in the spring and summer.

Adam Gase says DeVante Parker just needs to stay healthy.
Speaking at this week’s NFL Annual League Meeting, Gase was asked about his fourth-year receivers potential and said he doesn’t even think it’s a “potential thing.” All last year leading up to the season, the Dolphins were extremely high on Bryant, and it sounded like he was ready to have a Pro Bowl season. But a bad ankle sprain, believed to be a high-ankle sprain, derailed his season a bit. Gase believes keeping Parker is the most important thing, and he adds they need “a little bit of luck” so he can stay on the field. Parker has major post-hype breakout potential in 2018, especially if people just look at the stats and don’t think he’s worth a selection in fantasy drafts.

The police are no longer investigating into December crash of car registered to DeSean Jackson.
In December, the car (not driven by Jackson) crashed into a tree and contained marijuana and hollow-point bullets. The Bucs receiver says his friend was driving the car and abandoned it, and the police have announced the investigation is no longer active, so his will be the end of any talk of league-discipline for Jackson—though it is a concern that he had a friend doing illegal activity driving a car registered to him. DeSean is expected to be back in Tampa Bay for 2018, and he’ll look to build a stronger rapport with quarterback Jameis Winston throughout the offseason.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said that it’s “safe to say” Nick Foles will be with the team to start the 2018 season.
A coach’s words in March don’t necessarily mean much, but it’s always been difficult to imagine Philadelphia trading the Super Bowl LII MVP for anything less than a premium draft pick or multiple draft picks, especially with Carson Wentz coming off a torn ACL. An injury elsewhere in the league could change things, but it would be a surprise if Foles wasn’t back with the Eagles in 2018.

Allen Robinson again says he’s just focused on getting back to 100%.
Robinson spoke to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco and reiterated what he said ahead of Jacksonville’s AFC Championship loss to New England, as he believes he’ll be back to 100% “relatively soon.” The 24-year-old receiver says he’s going to “kind of let my agent narrow down the scenarios,” so it sounds like his agent will negotiate with teams and present Robinson with the offers. Of course, the Jaguars could always franchise tag their stud receiver, which would pay him over $15-16 million and keep in locked in with Jacksonville for 2018. Despite coming off a torn ACL, A-Rob should make a ton of money if he hits the open market.

The Raiders have released tight end Clive Walford, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After he had two solid seasons his first two years in the NFL, Walford didn’t have a big role behind Jared Cook last season and caught only nine passes. In his three years with the Raiders, Walford caught 70 passes for 768 yards and six touchdowns. The 2015 third-round selection out of Miami should have no problem finding a new team, and the Dolphins might be a good fit given their hole at tight end.

Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) could miss the entire preseason.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson, who was the one that first reported Jeffery’s one-year deal with the Eagles last offseason, says Jeffery is “out at least 6 months” and is “very likely” to miss the preseason. Anderson added her source says it’s not 100%, but the expectation is for Jeffery to be ready for Week 1 in September. Obviously, missing training camp and the entire preseason would be a concern, and Jeffery might take some time to knock off the rust if he does indeed miss all that time. After he played through the injury all season, Jeffery is likely to push hard to get back for the start of 2018. He’ll be someone to monitor all summer, and his absence could mean a bigger role for Nelson Agholor.
