Join now >Alfred Blue goes over 100 yards in Christmas Day loss.
Blue rushed 16 times for 108 yards in a 34-6 defeat, as he was basically the lone bright spot for Houston on Monday. The 26-year-old out-carried and out-gained Lamar Miller (55 yards on 10 attempts), and he showed good vision and power against the Steelers. Look for him to have a nice role next week in the season finale, but he won’t be much more than a weak FLEX option.

Ben Roethlisberger tosses two touchdowns in Steelers’ blowout Christmas win.
This is two straight years with Christmas wins for Big Ben and the Steelers, and this one was in blowout fashion over the Texans. Roethlisberger was 20/29 for 226 yards and two touchdowns in the win, as he played a very solid game to help lock the Steelers into a first-round bye in the playoffs. The first touchdown was to Justin Hunter on five-yarder to the end zone after a scramble. And the second was to JuJu Smith-Schuster on a stick and nod type of route for 18 yards. Roethlisberger will be a strong option in Week 17 against the Browns.

T.J. Yates, Texans fall to 4-11 with Christmas Day loss to Pittsburgh.
Yates was 7/16 for 83 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also fumbled three times (one lost) and rushed once for 11 yards. The 30-year-old also left the game to be evaluated for a concussion, but he eventually was cleared and returned. Yates will finish up the season next Sunday against the Colts. He isn’t a fantasy option.

Amari Cooper is active tonight against the Eagles.
After missing last week with the ankle issue, Cooper is back in the lineup for the Raiders. There is some obvious risk with the third-year receiver, though, as he tweaked the ankle when he was in the lineup for Week 14. We don’t recommend inserting Cooper into fantasy lineups in fantasy championships this week.

Taylor Heinicke leaves to be evaluated for an injury.
After entering the game for T.J. Yates, Heinicke unfortunately suffered an injury of his known and appears to be headed for concussion protocol. Thankfully, Yates was cleared and is back in the game for Houston. Heinicke completed a ten-yard pass on his only attempt of the game, and hopefully he’s feeling OK.

T.J. Yates clears concussion protocol.
He’s back in the game for the Texans, and it’s a good thing with Taylor Heinicke now being sent off to be evaluated for an injury. It’s good to see Yates is fine.

T.J. Yates is being evaluated for a concussion.
Yates took a hit on a sack at the end of the first half against the Steelers, and he’s not out there to start the second half. Hopefully Yates is OK, but we should get more information soon. Taylor Heinicke, a 2015 undrafted quarterback from Old Dominion, is now under center for the Texans.
