Join now >Ameer Abdullah handles seven touches in loss to Cincinnati.
Abdullah rushed six times for 21 yards and caught a five-yard pass. The Lions were eliminated from playoff contention after the road upset, and they have yet another disappointing finish to the season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Jim Caldwell coach his final game next Sunday against the Packers, potentially opening up a desirable coaching job. As for Week 17, it’s difficult to trust Abdullah in fantasy lineups.

Seth DeValve gets four targets in Week 16.
DeValve caught three passes for 12 yards in a loss to the Bears. He’s not on the fantasy radar at the moment.
12/24/17 - 11:53 PM ET
David Njoku catches one pass against Chicago.
Njoku gains 13 yards on his lone reception, and he was targeted three times in the game. The rookie tight end will look to finish the season strong in Week 17, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Josh Gordon catches two passes against the Bears.
As they basically have for the last two seasons, the Bears did an excellent job on an opposing team’s number one receiver. Gordon was limited to 19 yards on his two receptions on a team-high eight targets in the Week 16 loss. This offseason could be a big of a shakeup in Cleveland under new GM John Dorsey, so we’ll see if next week is his final game for the Browns.
12/24/17 - 11:50 PM ET
Tion Green scores in Week 16 loss.
It was a five-yard score in the fourth quarter, and he finished with seven carries for 43 yards and a touchdown. Perhaps Detroit could have used a more balanced offense in the 26-17 loss that eliminates them from playoff contention, but it’s too late now. Green won’t be a reliable FLEX in Week 17 against the Packers.
12/24/17 - 11:49 PM ET
Rashard Higgins gets three targets in Week 16.
Higgins caught two passes for 20 yards against the Bears, and he’s not a fantasy option on a subpar Cleveland offense.
12/24/17 - 11:40 PM ET
Ricardo Louis catches one pass against the Bears.
Louis gained 35 yards on his lone reception (and lone target) of the game, but he fumbled the ball at about the five-yard line and it was recovered by Chicago. His role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy option at the moment.
