A.J. Green | Retired WR

A.J. Green can’t escape Xavier Rhodes in Week 15 loss.

Green caught just two passes for 30 yards, as Cincinnati’s offense was basically nonexistent in the 34-7 defeat. With Marvin Lewis set to part ways with the franchise after the season, it seems the Bengals have quit over the past two weeks, so Green is probably more of a low-end WR1 against Detroit on Christmas Eve.

Kenjon Barner | Buccaneers RB

Kenjon Barner gets two carries in Week 15.

Barner gained 21 yards on his two attempts, including a run of 18 yards. If he had more opportunities, Barner would be a very good fantasy option; but he’s currently in a committee and can’t be trusted in lineups.

Jay Ajayi | Free Agent RB

Jay Ajayi gets 14 touches n Eagles’ win.

Ajayi again worked as the lead back for the Eagles, but the team came out with a throwing gameplan with Nick Foles under center and continued with it throughout the victory. Ajayi had 12 carries for 49 yards and two receptions for 40 yards, so it was still a solid fantasy day for the bruising back. Perhaps the Eagles will go to a more run-heavy gameplan in Week 16 against the Raiders, but Ajayi is a fine fantasy option either way.

Brandon LaFell | Free Agent WR

Brandon LaFell caught two passes for 53 yards in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota.

LaFell’s 45-yard reception was basically the only offense of the entire game for the Bengals, as they were blown out 34-7. He gets a better matchup on Christmas Eve against Detroit, but it’s difficult to trust anyone besides A.J. Green over the final two weeks for the disappointing Cincinnati squad.

12/18/17 - 01:32 PM ET

Brian Hill | Free Agent RB

Brian Hill handles five carries in loss to Minnesota.

The undrafted rookie out of Wyoming rushed five times for 12 yards behind Giovani Bernard in the blowout loss. He isn’t a fantasy option over the final two weeks of the season.

12/18/17 - 01:30 PM ET

Giovani Bernard | Retired RB

Giovani Bernard gets saved by touchdown in blowout loss.

Bernard rushed 14 times for 30 yards, including a two-yard score in the fourth quarter. He also caught three passes for 13 yards. Cincinnati was completely shut down on the ground, as Bernard’s long run went for four yards in the 34-7 defeat. It looks like the team has quit over the past two weeks with Marvin Lewis set to leave after the season, so it’s difficult to trust anyone not named A.J. Green over the final two weeks of the season. Whether or not Joe Mixon (concussion) returns, Bernard isn’t a recommended option on Christmas Eve against Detroit.

12/18/17 - 01:26 PM ET

Andy Dalton | Panthers QB

Andy Dalton, Bengals fall to 5-9 after blowout loss in Minnesota.

Dalton was 11/22 for 113 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. It seems that Cincinnati gave up on the season following their blown lead to Pittsburgh in Week 12, so there’s no reason to consider Dalton against the Lions or Ravens over the final two weeks of the season. It will be interesting to see who the Bengals get as head coach in 2018—and whether Dalton remains their starting quarterback.
