Join now >The Browns are releasing free-agent bust Kenny Britt, according to Adam Schefter.
New general manager John Dorsey isn’t wasting any time making moves, as he’s quickly gotten Kenny Britt out of the building after the veteran signed a four-year, $32.5-million deal in the offseason. Britt had just 18 receptions for 233 yards and two touchdowns in his only season with Cleveland, and he apparently wasn’t a very good influence on 2016 first-round pick Corey Coleman, so this is probably a good culture-building move for the Browns. We’ll see if Britt gets an opportunity someplace else this season, but he won’t be a factor in the fantasy playoffs.

Allen Hurns (ankle) misses practice again.
Perhaps Hurns will be able to get out there tomorrow or Friday, but he might not be close to returning from his high-ankle sprain. High-ankle sprains are very tough to get back to 100% from.
12/6/17 - 07:14 PM ET
John Brown (toe) has been ruled out for this Sunday.
Brown was able to get back out on the practice field, leading to some optimism regarding his status, but the Cardinals ruled him out ahead of the weekend. They simply aren’t going to rush Brown back with the team not really in contention for a playoff spot in the crowded NFC. Hopefully Brown makes enough progress to be ready to go in Week 15.

Tyrod Taylor (knee) will not practice today.
This isn’t surprising considering it’s only the first practice of the week. Taylor is still considered day-to-day, but he might need to get out there for practice tomorrow (or at least for Friday) to play this Sunday against the Colts. Rookie Nathan Peterman will take the first-team reps in practice and will start if Taylor can’t go this week.
12/6/17 - 11:19 AM ET
Adrian Peterson (neck) has been ruled out for Week 14.
The veteran running back didn’t practice all week, so it’s no surprise the non-playoff-contending Cardinals went ahead and ruled him out ahead of the weekend. Kerwynn Williams will be the best fantasy bunch in Arizona’s backfield against the Titans this week.

JuJu Smith-Schuster’s one-game suspension has been upheld.
Smith-Schuster’s suspension was just handed down earlier today, but appeals officer James Thrash has already heard the appeal and made a decision. The rookie receiver will miss this Sunday night’s game against the Ravens, and he’ll be back in Week 15 for a game versus the Patriots that could decide the top seed in the AFC.
12/5/17 - 09:03 PM ET
Orleans Darkwa (illness) is listed as questionable for this week.
We would expect Darkwa to be fine for Sunday against the Cowboys, but his status is still something to keep an eye on. But sure to check back in on Sunday morning if you’re planning on having Darkwa in your lineup for Week 14.
