Join now >The Jaguars have waived Ryquell Armstead, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Armstead missed the 2020 season due to complications from COVID-19, so hopefully he’s healthy and fit to get a fair shot elsewhere. The former Temple standout runs with power and aggressiveness, which will make him a name to keep an eye on from a fantasy perspective in both redraft and dynasty leagues; Miami and Atlanta come to mind as strong landing spots.

The Chiefs are signing Reece Fountain.
The former Colts receiver will look to win a role in the Kansas City offense this summer. Fountain played in five games for Indy last season.

Marqise Lee is signing with the 49ers.
The former Jaguars receiver has not played since early 2019 after a torn ACL and then a 2020-opt out after signing with the Patriots, but he lands in a very good spot to potentially win a nice role on offense behind top two wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel this season. The 2012 Biletnikoff Award winner while at USC will return to the West Coast with a shot to play for a contender.

The Bengals are signing Trent Taylor.
Taylor gives Cincinnati another inside receiver to work with on offense. The former fifth-round pick unfortunately had trouble staying healthy with the Niners, but he’ll look to stay on the field and make an impact with Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

The Giants are signing Kelvin Benjamin, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Benjamin—a former first-round pick by Dave Gettleman in Carolina—is being signed as a tight end, which is better suited for his size in today’s NFL. New York is already strong at the position with Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph, but Benjamin showing enough to make the team would give them yet another weapon for Daniel Jones. Now 30, the veteran would be a potential weapon in scoring territory with the Giants.

Corey Clement signed with the Giants.
After working at Giants minicamp on a tryout basis, the team signed Clement to a deal. This ends the South Jersey and Philadelphia-area native’s four-year run with the Eagles after he went undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2017. Clement was a hero for Philadelphia in Super Bowl LII, catching a touchdown in back of the end zone and totaling 100 receiving yards as a running back in the upset win over the Patriots. Now moving up the coast while remaining within the NFC East, Clement will compete for a role in the Giants backfield this summer.

The Packers signed Kurt Benkert.
Benkert had a tryout with Green Bay, and he impressed enough to earn a spot on the roster ahead of the summer. The Packers have now signed Blake Bortles and Benkert in recent days, adding two quarterbacks to a room that might not have Aaron Rodgers moving forward if the reigning league MVP continues his holdout.
