Join now >Washington has selected North Carolina wide receiver Dyami Brown with the No. 82 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Arguably the best pure deep threat in the 2021 class, Brown simply knows how to beat cornerbacks vertically—as evidenced by him averaging at least 20.0 yards per reception in each of the past two seasons. The concern for Brown is that he tested modestly for a player with his play style (4.46 40-yard dash), but that doesn’t mean he won’t be able to get past NFL coverage, and hopefully the deep ball is on point for Ryan Fitzpatrick in Washington. If he shows well early on, boom-or-bust FLEX value isn’t out of the question as a rookie while playing alongside Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel. The Dolphins have selected Boston College tight end Hunter Long with the No. 81 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Long possesses prototype size and can threaten the seams, which should be his role in Miami while complementing Mike Gesicki at the tight end position. As is usually the case with rookie tight ends, it’s probably unwise to count on Year 1 production, but Long can become an all-around option at the position if he can improve his blocking and be more physical overall. Considering how weak tight end is, dynasty owners can invest in Long as a guy with the potential to be a six-to-eight-touchdown-per-year target if he develops into a sizable role. The Chargers have selected Tennessee wide receiver Josh Palmer with the No. 77 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
A strong perimeter target with excellent body control and physicality, Palmer got the better of some top cornerbacks in the SEC, and he could have been drafted higher than this with improved quarterback play (leading to better production). Particularly if he can improve some beating press coverage, Palmer has the makings of a future No. 2 or No. 3 option for Los Angeles, though redraft value might be difficult to come by in 2021 with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams leading the way.. The full scouting report for Palmer can be read in the link below.

The Texans have selected Stanford quarterback Davis Mills with the No. 67 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The media was taking about Mills as a possible first-round pick with supposed connections to New England and Chicago, but he instead goes to Houston early in the third round, with a run on quarterbacks starting with the final pick of Round 2. Overall, Mills has prototype size at six-foot-four and exciting arm talent as a former top recruit, but injuries limited him to just 14 games in three years at Stanford—and he threw for just 18 touchdowns with eight interceptions. We’ll see if the Texans are able to develop Mills to reach his ceiling, but dynasty owners are likely better off targeting an upside running back or receiver in rookie drafts. This move could be an indication that Houston is not confident in Deshaun Watson ever playing for the franchise again.

The Vikings have selected Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond with the No. 66 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Mond will be more of a developmental prospect behind Kirk Cousins, but he has a dual-threat skillset and can really excel in the quick-strike passing game. He is also very intelligent and was coached hard by Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M, so we like his chances of eventually turning into a solid starter if given the opportunity. From a fantasy perspective, Mond’s rushing upside would make him a quality streamer if forced into action as a rookie, especially with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen to throw the ball to. In four years at College Station, the 21-year-old completed 59.0% of his passes fro 9,661 yards and a 71:27 touchdown-interception ratio, also adding 1,609 rushing yards and 22 scores on the ground; the total touchdowns (93) tied Johnny Manziel for the most in school history. The Buccaneers have selected Florida quarterback Kyle Trask with the No. 64 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
An accurate pocket passer that throws with impressive touch and ball placement, Trask started two seasons for the Gators—completing 67.9% of his passes for 7,386 yards, 69 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. Limitations in terms of arm strength and athleticism (along with some concerns about turnovers) pushed Trask to Day 2, but he proved to be a very capable distributor for Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney in 2020. The Bucs should immediately feel good about him as their No. 2 quarterback behind Tom Brady, with a chance to eventually take over whenever the G.O.A.T. moves on. Trask is obviously in a good spot to be able to learn from Brady. Trask’s full scouting report can be viewed in the link below.

The Panthers have selected LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. with the No. 59 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Marshall Jr. received plenty of first-round buzz during the pre-draft process, but Carolina gets him in the second round as someone that can immediately step in as a starter alongside D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson in Joe Brady’s offense. Brady obviously has insight on Marshall after coaching him with the Tigers a couple of seasons ago during the national championship year, so it’s a great sign for both sides and should be a strong fit. Even though the production in terms of career receptions (106) and receiving yards (1,594) were modest for Marshall Jr. in three seasons with the Tigers, he found the end zone 23 times in 19 games since the start of 2019, and he could quickly become a favorite in the red zone for Sam Darnold. Plus, he has the versatility—despite being six-foot-three—to play the slot, which would certainly be a boost to his fantasy outlook. The full scouting report for Marshall Jr. can be read in the link below.
