Mathew Sexton | Steelers WR

The Steelers are signing Mathew Sexton, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Sexton—who went undrafted last year—participated in the Michigan State pro day last week and ran a low-4.3 40-yard dash, which was enough to get him an NFL shot. The Bills and Patriots also reportedly had interest, and Sexton will hope to make an impact this spring/summer to find a way on the roster.

Colt McCoy | Retired QB

The Cardinals are signing Colt McCoy.

McCoy will now be joining his fifth team since getting drafted in the third round of the 2010 draft, so the veteran quarterback has done quite well to stick around in the league and find solid backup roles for so long. The Texas product will be a good presence in the quarterback room for third-year signal-caller Kyler Murray.

Alex Erickson | Patriots WR

The Texans officially signed Alex Erickson.

Erickson is a strong factor in the return game, but he can also contribute at receiver and set a career-high with 43 receptions in 2018. In his five seasons with the Bengals, Erickson never missed a game, starting 14 times at receiver among his 80 total games played.

Kalen Ballage | Free Agent RB

The Steelers signed Kalen Ballage.

Ballage showed legitimate upside last season after earning a role for the Chargers, and he’s an intriguing addition for the Steelers. Pittsburgh’s offense has led to some fantasy gold for running backs over the years, and the team clearly wants to run the ball more in 2021. Ballage is someone to keep an eye on throughout the rest of the offseason and into the summer.

Greg Ward Jr. | Free Agent WR

Greg Ward Jr. signed his exclusive rights tender.

The former Houston quarterback continues to show promise as a receiver, coming off a 54/419/6 campaign last year. Ward will compete for a starting role in the Eagles receiving corps for 2021.

3/29/21 - 05:11 PM ET

Mohamed Sanu | Free Agent WR

The 49ers are signing Mohamed Sanu.

Sanu was with the Niners for a little bit last season, and now he’s back on a one-year deal for 2021. The veteran receiver has plenty of experience and knows Kyle Shanahan’s offense, and he’s a good presence in the young wide receivers room.

Chase Daniel | Free Agent QB

The Chargers are signing Chase Daniel.

Daniel will be a veteran/mentor type of presence for Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert to utilize this season. Daniel is familiar with both Chargers head coach Brandon Staley and offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, so this is a natural fit for all parties.
