Marquise Goodwin | Free Agent WR

Marquise Goodwin leads the 49ers in receiving against the Colts.

Goodwin caught five of 11 targets for 116 yards, with a long of 51 yards, in the Week 5 loss. The long reception was on a fly route where Goodwin used his remarkable speed to get behind the defense. In a matchup with a vulnerable Colts secondary, Goodwin obviously one of the better boom/bust options of the week, and those that played him must be happy with the stat line. Goodwin might be able to get deep again next week against the Redskins.

Jeremy Kerley | Free Agent WR

Jeremy Kerley caught four passes for 39 yards in Sunday’s win over the Browns.

Kerley actually led the team in receiving, but it didn’t amount to much in a conservative offense. The slot receiver can stay on the waiver wire. New York takes on New England in Week 6.

Bilal Powell | Retired RB

Bilal Powell sees just six touches as he leaves game with calf injury.

Powell rushed twice for five yards and caught four passes for 28 yards, but didn’t play in the second half after getting injured. He returned to the sidelines, which suggests he could have returned, so that should be seen as a silver lining. Keep an eye on the injury report, but Powell will be worth a look as a FLEX play if he’s healthy for next Sunday against New England.

Kyle Juszczyk | 49ers FB

Kyle Juszczyk scores in Week 5.

The 49ers offensive weapon carried once for three yards along with two receptions on 14 yards and a receiving touchdown. The touchdown was on a shuffle pass late in the game. Though he’s a great real-life contributor, Juszczyk is not a reliable option in fantasy lineups.

10/9/17 - 10:48 AM ET

Carlos Hyde | Free Agent RB

Carlos Hyde disappears in Week 5 against the Colts.

Despite being on pace for nearly 1,300 rushing yards entering the game, the 49ers for whatever reason decided against giving Hyde a heavy workload versus Indy. Hyde carries only eight times for 11 yards and had one reception (on one target) for seven yards. The hip injury did not appear to be an issue in any way, as Hyde was on the sideline with his helmet on and looked like he wanted to go in the game. Undrafted rookie Matt Breida led the team in carries (ten) and rushing (49 yards) while Hyde sat out for a lot of the game. Though this was a peculiar game, Hyde should be the lead back in Week 6 against Washington.

10/9/17 - 10:47 AM ET

Elijah McGuire | Chiefs RB

Elijah McGuire rushed 11 times for 20 yards in Sunday’s win over the Browns.

He also caught two passes for 10 yards. McGuire saw more snaps in the second half because Bilal Powell injured his calf and didn’t return to the game, but Cleveland contained the rookie back. Depending on Powell’s health in Week 6, McGuire might be worth a look as a FLEX play against New England.
