Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Marcus Mariota helps lead Titans to win over the Seahawks.

Mariota played very well against Seattle, going 20/32 for 225 yards and two touchdowns while adding seven carries for 27 yards. Mariota’s first touchdown came in the third quarter on a 55-yard screen pass to Rishard Matthews, which put the Titans ahead. The second touchdown was to a wide-open Jonnu Smith on a wheel route for 24 yards. Mariota was cheap shotted on the sideline by Richard Sherman on one of his runs, which led to the Titans—particularly Taylor Lewan—coming to his defense. Thankfully Mariota was fine, and Lewan and Sherman even talked it out and were laughing after the game. Next week is a difficult matchup against the Texans, who Mariota didn’t have a great game against last season, but he’s still a QB1 in the game.

Adam Thielen | Panthers WR

Adam Thielen gets team-high eight targets in Vikings’ loss.

Thielen caught five passes for 59 yards against the Lions, but he had a key fumble on the final drive for the Vikings while the team was down seven. You have to feel for Thielen, who’s been playing very well all season long. Thielen is on pace for 96 receptions, 1,432 yards, and zero touchdowns as he’s been the NFL’s best receiver tandem with Stefon Diggs so far this year. The touchdowns should certainly come, and Thielen is looking like one of the best mid-late round fantasy picks this season as he continues his breakout from 2016.

10/2/17 - 01:14 PM ET

Ryan Griffin | Free Agent TE

Ryan Griffin catches two passes in Week 4.

He was targeted five times, but only gained 13 yards on his two receptions. Griffin will have some good weeks, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option.

10/2/17 - 12:38 PM ET

Jamison Crowder | Free Agent WR

Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is questionable for Monday Night Football.

Crowder didn’t practice Thursday, but he was a limited participant yesterday and today. He’ll probably play in the game, but there are likely better FLEX options for your fantasy lineup this week.

9/30/17 - 02:22 PM ET

Paul Richardson | Free Agent WR

Paul Richardson gets seven targets in Week 3.

Richardson caught two of the seven targets for 30 yards and a touchdown versus the Titans. It’s Richardson’s second straight week with a touchdown for the Seahawks and he’s proven to be a reliable receiver for Russell Wilson, but he’s not quite trustworthy in most fantasy lineups yet. However, a matchup with the Colts could be a good one for Richardson, and he’ll be especially worth a look if Doug Baldwin (groin) was to miss the game.

9/25/17 - 02:08 PM ET

Jesse James | Raiders TE

Jesse James caught three passes for 40 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.

James has a reception of at least 12 yards in every game to start the season, and he’s on pace for 60 catches for 508 yards and eight touchdowns. Still, he’s only a fantasy option when the matchup is right, and Vance McDonald could cut into his playing time as we get deeper into the season.

10/2/17 - 12:37 PM ET

Amari Cooper | Free Agent WR

Amari Cooper, Raiders completely shutdown in SNF loss to Washington.

Cooper caught just one pass for six yards, committing his league-leading sixth drop in the process. Seemingly pegged for a third-year breakout, Cooper has struggled mightily so far this season with just 10 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. For comparison, A.J. Green and Antonio Brown each put up better numbers across the board in Week 3 alone. Things don’t get any easier with a trip to Denver next week, and it’s time to take Cooper out of lineups.
