Martellus Bennett catches six of seven targets in Week 4.

Bennett had 39 yards on his six receptions, a few of which were just passes to the flat that went nowhere. It was an OK game for PPR scoring, but Bennett simply doesn’t offer a lot of upside the other tight ends offer.

Adam Shaheen catches first career touchdown in win over the Steelers.

It was a two-yard reception in the second quarter, and not only his first career score, but also his first career catch. He is a name to watch in dynasty leagues, but Shaheen belongs on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

Julius Thomas doesn’t do much in Week 3 loss.

Thomas caught three of five targets for 16 yards against the Jets. He gets the Saints in London next Sunday.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game.

There wasn’t really any doubt, but Benjamin will play against the Patriots this weekend. He was a full participant in practice yesterday and today, so Benjamin is probably 100% (close to it, at least) for the game. You can insert Benjamin into your lineup as a WR2/FLEX option.

Jordy Nelson scores twice in Week 4 victory.

Nelson had another excellent performance in the Thursday night matchup against the Bears, catching four of seven targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Nelson had a 58-yard reception that he nearly scored on, then he had two touchdowns by the goal line—both of which he was wide-open on. The first touchdown was on a simple out route that he basically walked in on after catching it, and the second touchdown was on a corner route against, frankly, terrible coverage by the Bears that left him wide open in the end zone. Nelson will be an elite option in two Sundays against the Cowboys.

Jacob Hollister catches 19-yard pass in Week 3.

It was Hollister’s only reception of the day, but it was a nice one, as he held on while taking a big hit from Texans corner Jonathan Joseph. Hollister is off the fantasy radar right now.

Devin Funchess caught four passes for 58 yards in Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans.

Funchess was the only wide receiver with more than eight yards through the air, as Kelvin Benjamin went down with a knee injury and running back Christian McCaffrey dominated work with more than half of the completions from Cam Newton. Until Newton fixes his issues with inaccuracy (which might not happen), Funchess is hard to trust in lineups. He can probably stay on the waiver wire if Benjamin is healthy.
