Trey Burton | Free Agent TE

Trey Burton catches one pass for ten yards in Week 2.

It was Burton’s only target in the game. He’s more of a contributor to the Eagles in real life than he will be for your fantasy team as long as Zach Ertz is healthy.

Mack Hollins | Patriots WR

Mack Hollins catches all three targets in Week 2.

The rookie had his first-career reception in the game, and he had 32 yards total in the game. Hollins’ role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy asset yet, but he’s an intriguing player that is a good target in dynasty leagues.

9/18/17 - 11:03 AM ET

Torrey Smith | Retired WR

Torrey Smith catches four of eight targets in Week 2.

Smith had 66 yards on his four receptions, including a long of 24. Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz trusted Smith to make plays down the field even when there was tight coverage, which is a good sight for fantasy owners. However, Smith did have a chance at a touchdown on a nice back-shoulder throw, but it went off his hands. Smith, surprisingly, appeared to get most of the time when the Eagles went to two-receiver sets against the Chiefs. He gets the Giants in Week 3.

Kenny Britt | Free Agent WR

Kenny Britt held to one catch in loss.

It went for two yards. Britt now has two catches for 15 yards through his first two games with the Browns, and while it’s early, he looks like a big-time bust after signing for $32.5 million in the offseason. Maybe it’s worth keeping him around for one more week after Corey Coleman’s hand injury, but dropping Britt probably wouldn’t hurt you at this point.

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery scores against the Chiefs in Week 2.

Jeffery took advantage of not being matched up with Marcus Peters for much of the day, catching seven of a team-high 13 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was on a back-shoulder type of route from the slot where Jeffery caught it on the ground but was not touched, so he rolled into the end zone for his first score as an Eagle. Fantasy owners that trusted him in a potentially tough matchup on paper were rewarded with a very good game form Jeffery. He faces the Giants and their tough corners next Sunday.

9/18/17 - 10:58 AM ET

Ricardo Louis | Free Agent WR

Ricardo Louis caught two passes for 27 yards in Sunday’s loss.

Opportunity will be there over the next few weeks if Corey Coleman (hand) is out, but Rashard Higgins—who was recently promoted from the practice squad—might be “the guy” after catching seven passes for 95 yards in his first action of 2017. Even if Louis were to take some or a lot of Coleman’s targets, it probably wouldn’t lead to fantasy success in a bad offense.

9/18/17 - 10:56 AM ET

Zach Ertz | Commanders TE

Zach Ertz leads Eagles in receiving in Week 2.

The Eagles tight end had five receptions (on ten targets) for 97 yards against Kansas City. The best play for Ertz was as the end of the first half when he showed good concentration and caught a pass that flew up in the air after hitting the arms of Chiefs defensive back Terrance Mitchell before running down the field for a 53-yard gain and getting tackled inside the 15-yard line. Quarterback Carson Wentz continues to look Ertz’s way, dating back to the end of last season. He’s looking like one of the better TE options in fantasy this season—especially in PPR leagues.
