Lewis caught four passes for 54 yards as New York struggled to do anything in a 19-3 loss against Dallas. The 23-year-old receiver isn’t a fantasy option.

Dez Bryant catches two passes in Week 1.
Bryant was engaged in his third matchup over the last two seasons with perhaps his biggest rival, Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins. Dez did have 43 yards on his two receptions, but Jenkins did a good job considering Bryant had nine targets. Bryant drew a pass interference penalty as well, but it was probably a bad call by the official. There was a ton of talking between the two, and look for things to be chippy in Week 2 when the Cowboys take on Aqib Talib, Chris Harris, and the Broncos. Bryant will be a WR1/WR2 in that game.

Orleans Darkwa rushed three times for 14 yards in Sunday night’s loss to Dallas.
Darkwa was the Giants’ most-effective runner with a 12-yard carry, but he isn’t worth a roster spot as a backup on a bad offense (dating back to last season). He probably won’t see more than a handful of touches next week against the Lions on MNF.

Paul Perkins gets the start; handles nine touches in season opener.
Perkins rushed seven times for 16 yards and caught two passes for nine yards in a 19-3 loss to the Cowboys. New York seems committed to Perkins as the starter, but we’re not sure why they wouldn’t give rookie Wayne Gallman a shot (he was a healthy inactive). Perhaps that will change after last night’s poor offensive performance, but it’s unlikely. Perkins is no more than a weak, opportunity-based FLEX play next week against Detroit.

Jason Witten sets all-time Cowboys receiving yardage mark in Week 1 win over the Giants.
Witten passed Michael Irvin for the most yardage in franchise history for the Cowboys, quite the accomplishment for the future Hall of Fame tight end. In the game, Witten caught seven-of-nine targets for 59 yards and a touchdown. The TD came on a skinny post type of route and Dak Prescott put it right on the money.

Terrance Williams leads Cowboys in receiving in Week 1.
Williams, who briefly left the game with an ankle injury, caught six-of-seven targets for 68 yards versus the Giants. The ankle turn didn’t seem to hinder him at all, and he came up big for the Cowboys. Williams is more of a real-life contributor than he is in fantasy.

Eli Manning struggles in Week 1 loss to the Cowboys.
Manning’s completion percentage looks good after going 29/38, but it was for just 220 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. The offensive line was bad, the running game was nonexistent, and the Giants declined to challenge Dallas’ secondary deep. Eli threw into heavy coverage on more than one occasion, and he probably should have had more than the one turnover. He was missing Odell Beckham Jr., but it was still a concerning game. Eli should stay on the waiver wire. He gets the Lions next on MNF.
