It was O’Leary’s only reception in the game. He’s behind Charles Clay at the tight end position and won’t be a great fantasy option as long as Clay remains healthy.

The Browns claimed Kasen Williams.
Williams lit up the preseason for the Seahawks, but surprisingly did not make the final roster. The Browns used their waiver priority to claim the super athletic receiver, and Williams should have a great opportunity in Cleveland. The receiving group isn’t too deep, so Williams should have a chance to get a good amount of playing time on offense. He’s not really worth a roster spot in re-draft leagues yet, but he’s worth a flier in dynasty leagues.

Chris Conley catches two-of-four targets in Week 1.
Conley had a 25-yard reception and an 18-yard reception versus New England. The third-year receiver will probably be more of a contributor in real life than in fantasy, but he’ll have some good weeks and should be more consistent in the box score this year.

Travaris Cadet did not make the final roster for the Saints.
It was going to be difficult for Cadet to make the roster after New Orleans signed Adrian Peterson and drafted Alvin Kamara in the third round of the draft. Cadet should get interest from other teams in the coming days, and he’ll definitely remain on New Orleans’ radar if not.

Rex Burkhead starts opening game for the Patriots.
Dion Lewis was listed as the starter on the NBC lineup introductions, but Burkhead took the opening snaps for New England against the Chiefs. After the start of the game, Mike Gillislee and James White took over most of the work in the game. Burkhead had three carries for 15 yards and caught one-of-three targets for eight yards. Gillislee scored three touchdowns at the goal line and appears locked into that role. Burkhead will have some big weeks, but he might not end up being consistent enough to put in your fantasy lineup.

The Steelers have signed Fitzgerald Toussaint to their practice squad.
Toussaint was cut by Pittsburgh, but they are able to bring him back as insurance for Le’Veon Bell. He would be behind both James Conner and Terrell Watson should anything happen to the superstar back.

Matty Ice and the Falcons beat the Bears for close Week 1 victory.
Ryan was 21/30 for 321 yards and a touchdown against Chicago, while also adding three carries for 11 yards. The 2016 NFL MVP made an MVP play when he stepped up in the pocket in the fourth quarter and hit a wide open Austin Hooper for an 88-yard touchdown to put the Falcons up 20-10 in the fourth quarter of their eventual 23-17 win. Ryan and the Falcons open their beautiful new Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first meaningful NFL game there next Sunday night against the Packers in what could be a shootout.
