Join now >Patrick Mahomes II plays great in Chiefs’ fourth preseason game.
The talented rookie’s deep ball was working, and he was 9/16 for 183 yards and a touchdown in the exhibition versus Tennessee. Mahomes’ best throw was when he was scrambling right and launched a perfect 53-yarder while on the run to Demarcus Robinson. Ideally, Mahomes won’t make any starts this season and won’t have much fantasy value, but he’s a very strong quarterback to own in dynasty leagues and might be a fantasy starter if he ends up having to make starts in 2017.

Matt Dayes rushed ten times for 31 yards in the team’s preseason finale.
Dayes also caught two passes for 25 yards. The 22-year-old (on Sunday) looks like a lock for the roster and is definitely a name to keep an eye on. If Isaiah Crowell struggles early, Dayes could potentially unseat him behind a strong offensive line.
9/1/17 - 11:48 AM ET
Cody Kessler was 11/19 for 144 yards and one touchdown in the Browns’ preseason finale.
The favorite for Cleveland’s quarterback competition earlier in the year, Kessler got the start with recently-named starter DeShone Kizer resting. He got beat up early on behind the backup offensive line, but Kessler settled in and made some really good throws outside the numbers, including a back shoulder score in the second quarter. It would have been nice to see Kessler get a shot behind a revamped starting offensive line, but that didn’t happen for whatever reason. We think he’d be a good trade target for a team potentially looking for an upgrade at quarterback or a team that has an injury at the position.

David Fluellen leads Titans in rushing in Week 4 of the preseason.
Fluellen had 19 carries for 74 yards in the exhibition versus Kansas City. The 25-year-old former undrafted player was third in the NFL this preseason, with 161 rushing yards. Fluellen deserves a ton of credit for playing himself into serious consideration for a roster spot, and he’s on the bubble as we approach Saturday’s 4:00 PM ET roster cut deadline.
9/1/17 - 11:41 AM ET
Kevin Hogan was 13/18 for 180 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns’ preseason finale.
Hogan’s late-game play in August was a big reason for the team going 4-0 in the preseason. It would be surprising if the team didn’t release Brock Osweiler and keep Hogan as the third quarterback behind DeShone Kizer and Cody Kessler.
9/1/17 - 11:41 AM ET
Coby Fleener plays in preseason finale.
He caught a nine-yard pass. It was a bit surprising to see Fleener play with the rest of the starters out, and it could give fantasy owners thinking about taking him late some pause. He probably isn’t worth drafting.
9/1/17 - 11:39 AM ET
Josh Hill caught three passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in the team’s preseason finale.
Hill’s score came from Chase Daniel in the second quarter. New Orleans rested their guys for the most part, but both Hill and Coby Fleener played in last night’s game.
