The undrafted rookie from Wyoming showed off his speed when he ran a go route and Mitchell Trubisky hit him in stride for a 45-yard touchdown. Because of Cameron Meredith’s unfortunate knee injury, it could open up more of an opportunity for Gentry to make the final roster. If not, he’s a definite practice squad candidate.

Thomas Rawls (ankle) is returning to practice today.
Rawls was held out the last two preseason games with an ankle injury, so it’s good to see him back on the field with under two weeks to go until the team’s first regular season game. Rawls will get a few practices to get back into the swing of things, and he could play in the team’s final preseason game on Thursday night. There’s no guarantee he steps back in as the team’s number one running back after he missed a couple weeks, but he probably will. Staying healthy and not missing time again is the bigger concern.

Tajae Sharpe makes 2017 preseason debut for the Titans.
The second-year receiver was out for a lot of training camp after undergoing foot surgery for a stress fracture. It was nice to see him out there for the Titans, and he had one reception for ten yards in the game. After missing so much time, he might not be locked into a roster spot because of the depth in Tennessee, and he’s off the fantasy radar right now.

C.J. Prosise returned to practice yesterday.
The second-year back missed over a week with a groin injury after injuring it on Friday, August 19 in pregame warmups before an exhibition against Kansas City. With very impressive rookie Chris Carson emerging as a wild card in the backfield, it’s unclear what Prosise’s role will be. He’ll probably remain the passing down back, given the upside he’s shown when healthy, but it’s no lock.

Delanie Walker catches long pass in Titans’ third preseason game.
Tennessee’s athletic tight endnote behind a zone defense and Marcus Mariota lofted him a pass that went for 27 yards. Some are concerned with the additional weapons added to the offense, but Delaine Walker should again be a very good TE1 in 2017.

Corey Davis is expected to be ready for Week 1, according to Ian Rapoport.
The rookie receiver missed basically all of the preseason with a hamstring injury, so he’s behind the eight-ball. The Titans are still going to look for big things from the fifth overall pick in the draft, and he could still step right in as one of the team’s top three receivers. We’re not saying he’s going to have close to the rookie season Odell Beckham Jr. did in 2014, but OBJ also missed a ton of time (into the regular season) during his rookie year and went on to put up huge numbers. Davis is worth a selection late in fantasy drafts.

Taywan Taylor catches 48-yard pass in Titans’ preseason game.
The rookie was used early and often in the game, getting three carries for 12 yards, including a toss when he lined up in the backfield—it’s something we could see from the rookie receiver this year and beyond. Taylor also had a 48-yard reception on a seam route to convert a third-and-long for the Titans. He’s intriguing in dynasty leagues, but probably won’t be a reliable fantasy option this season.
