Adam Thielen catches all five targets in the Vikings’ third preseason game.

Thielen had 50 yards on his five receptions, and it was a good day considering the Vikings were shut out in the first half against the 49ers. After a breakout 2016, Thielen is looking to take another step forward and have his first 1,000-yard season in 2017. He has Sam Bradford’s trust and should have a high floor as a late-round fantasy selection.

Justin Hunter doesn’t catch a pass in Steelers’ third preseason game.

Hunter had one target in the game, but Sammie Coates and Darrius Heyward-Bey didn’t do much in the game either. Thursday’s preseason finale will be big for Hunter.

Stacy Coley leads Vikings in receiving in Week 3 of the preseason.

Coley had four receptions for 76 yards in the exhibition versus the Niners, including a gain of 39 yards. The rookie out of Miami is likely going to be on Minnesota’s final roster, but he’ll have this Thursday night to try and put on another good performance before Friday’s cuts.

Fitzgerald Toussaint leaves Steelers’ third preseason game with an injury.

Tousaint left the game with a leg injury, but it appears to be a very minor injury. He curiously didn’t get much action on offense after previously working as the starter with Le’Veon Bell holding out. Toussaint had one reception for three yards in the game.

Jerick McKinnon leads Vikings in rushing in Week 3 of the preseason.

McKinnon had seven carries for 27 yards and added four receptions (on four targets) for 31 yards. He also returned a kick 108 yards for a touchdown, and it certainly looks like he has that spot locked up. On offense, he’s behind Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray, but he’ll mix in some—likely not enough to have much fantasy value this season though.

Jesse James catches one pass for 12 yards in Week 3 of the preseason.

James could be done for the preseason if the Steelers opt to hold out all of their starters in Week 4 of the preseason. The big tight end should be able to deliver at least TE2 value this season, though he’s going undrafted in fantasy drafts.

Joe Williams struggles to do much in 49ers’ third preseason game.

The rookie running back from Utah had seven carries for 16 yards in the exhibition versus Minnesota. The 49ers averaged only 3.5 yards per carry in the game, so Williams wasn’t alone. He also had an 11-yard reception on his only target. Williams could end up being the primary backup behind Carlos Hyde this season, but he’s probably not there yet.
