Kellen Moore was 12/17 for 182 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the HOF Game.
The only lefty quarterback in the NFL will be the backup for Dak Prescott this season. He could see time with the first-team offense over the next couple preseason games.

The Panthers are OK with Kelvin Benjamin’s weight.
Head coach Ron Rivera wouldn’t reveal his weight, but said the big receiver is “where he needs to be.” Benjamin’s weight was a concern this offseason, but he seems to have the situation settled. Cam Newton’s number one receiver is now a season removed from his ACL tear and will look to be more productive this season. Benjamin has 1,949 yards and 16 touchdowns through his two seasons played in the NFL and is currently going in the 9th round of fantasy drafts.

Seahawks running back Alex Collins is in better shape this season.
John Boyle of Seahawks.com says Collins “might be even a bit slimmed down and more explosive” than he was after he got in shape towards the end of last season and that Collins “looks like a player who can help the offense in 2017.” During the offseason, head coach Pete Carroll said of Collins: “He’s leaner, he’s faster, he’s quicker. He’s all of that and he knows what he’s doing now, so he’s really positioned himself well to compete for a spot.” The big second-year back from Arkansas is probably behind Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls for early-down work, but he should make the Seahawks roster and has a chance to make an impact this year.

Andrew Hawkins has informed the Patriots he is retiring.
It’s a little surprising he came to this decision right before the start of Pats camp, but the 31-year-old receiver said his body didn’t respond after OTAs and he’s not feeling how he should. The classy receiver thanked the Patriots franchise for giving him the opportunity with them. Hawkins finishes his six-year career with 209 receptions for 2,419 yards, and nine receiving touchdowns while playing for both the Browns and Bengals. He’s starting his Phd in February and seems to have things lined up well for retirement. We could see Hawkins back in the NFL in a team’s front office at some point.

Rod Smith gets 21 touches in Hall of Fame Game.
The 2015 undrafted running back from Ohio State, and brother of Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith, played hard and took advantage of his touches in the game. He had 18 carries for 64 yards and three receptions for 25 yards. Smith has reportedly been having a good camp, and his versatility as a running back could help him make the final roster.

All charged were dropped for former Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead, according to Ian Rapoport.
The arrest warrant for a June shoplifting charge was rescinded. The authorities had the wrong guy, as the person arrested apparently said he was Lucky Whitehead while giving his DOB and SSN, according to multiple reports. Unfortunately, the Cowboys decided to go ahead and cut Whitehead yesterday and if they waited another half a day, Whitehead might still be on the team, so he has a real reason to be upset. It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Whitehead, who also had to deal with his dog being taken for ransom last week. Luckily, he has his dog back, and hopefully another team picks him up and gives him an opportunity to compete in training camp.
