Join now >DeVante Parker is "expecting a big season this year."
A couple weeks ago, offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said he expects a big year from Parker, and Parker agrees. Parker said he made "a couple changes" to his workout routine, including doing more leg work. Because Parker has had hamstring issues in the past, hopefully the leg work helps eliminate that. Parker offers a lot of upside later in fantasy drafts.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will call plays this season.
Before last season, McCarthy has said he's never giving up play-calling again, so this isn't a surprise. McCarthy gave up play-calling at the beginning of the 2015 season, but took it back later in the year. McCarthy is a highly successful coach, and him calling the plays is good news for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense.

The Buccaneers are signing quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Mike Glennon is now with the Bears, so Fitzpatrick will fill the backup quarterback role behind Jameis Winston. As a very smart quarterback, Fitzpatrick will help the 23-year-old Winston progress. Fitzpatrick is also a more-than-capable backup that can fill in should anything happen to Winston.

Bucs offensive coordinator Todd Monken told DeSean Jackson they brought him to the team to be "great."
Monken said they're trying to get DeSean to play at "the level we paid him." With DeSean making over $10 million per season, with $20 million of it guaranteed, the Buccaneers are looking for a good return on the investment. Jackson had over 1,000 yards last season, but it sounds like they want him to do even better. Jackson is a good complement to Mike Evans, and he has high upside joining an offense with quarterback Jameis Winston entering his third season.

Rams rookie tight end Gerald Everett expects to play a Jordan Reed-like role.
New head coach Sean McVay, of course, was Reed's coordinator with the Redskins. Everett was picked in the second round to fill this role and make things easier for Jared Goff. Typically young tight ends don't make a big year-one impact, but the opportunity is there for Everett.

The Steelers signed running back Terrell Watson.
It's a corresponding move with the release of tight end Ladarius Green. Watson is a big back that runs hard, and he has a good shot of making the Steelers' roster. As someone that was abandoned by his mother and was bullied when he was younger, Watson is someone that everyone should root for.

The Steelers have released tight end Ladarius Green.
This is a bit of a surprise. Unfortunately, Green has battled injuries including concussions throughout his career, but he was very productive when on the field last season. He just signed a four-year, $20 million contract with the Steelers last offseason when he was a free agent. Green, assuming he's healthy, should be able to find another team that would love the opportunity to sign him. Jesse James will be the clear number one tight end for the Steelers this season, as long as they don't make a trade for one before the season.
