The Seahawks are interested in Robert Griffin III as a backup to Russell Wilson, according to Sheil Kapadia.

Pete Carroll was on the radio today and said the team is looking to add competition behind Wilson, and comfirmed that it included RGIII and fellow free agent Colin Kaepernick. It is surprising that more teams are not interested in Griffin III, who we think can still be a really good quarterback in the NFL. Seattle would be a decent fit, but the only way he would see the field would be an injury to Wilson. Perhaps RGIII will wait until a potential injury occurs, but the Seahawks' interest is real if their head coach was being truthful on the radio.

The Seahawks are interested in Colin Kaepernick as a backup quarterback option, according to Sheil Kapadia.

Head coach Pete Carroll was on the radio this morning and said "We're looking at everybody" when asked specificially about Kaepnerick and Robert Griffin III. Kaepernick, of course, was a long-time rival of the Seahawks over the past several years with the 49ers, and is still without a team following his national anthem antics from last year. If there is a locker room that would welcome Kaepnerick, it would probably be Seattle's. From an on-field perspective, RGIII is the better player. It's possible Kaepernick never sets foot on an NFL field again.

Eddie Lacy meets weight incentive in contract, weighs in at 253 pounds, according to Adam Schefter.

Lacy earns a cool $55,000 by weighing in two pounds under the 255-pound limit. This is really good news for his fantasy outlook if he can keep it up heading into training camp and through the season, as Lacy will be more effective playing at a lower weight. Expected to be the lead back in a three-way committee for the Seahawks, Lacy will probably be the best weekly fantasy play to start out 2017, with C.J. Prosise handling passing-game work and Thomas Rawls operating as a change-up.

Chiefs rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes II was robbed at gunpoint, as reported by CBS 19.

Mahomes was reportedly with three others when he was robbed. Fortunately, the culprits were found and the stolen items were returned. It could have been a lot worse, so thankfully everyone is OK from this situation.

Titans rookie receiver Taywan Taylor has been lining up both inside and outside during rookie minicamp.

Taylor is looking to make an impact as a third round pick, and having the versatility to line up insde and outside should help him get on the field. Tajae Sharpe, Harry Douglas, and others are also in the mix, but Taylor has a chance of carving out a primary role in three wide receiver sets alongside Rishard Matthews and fellow rookie Corey Davis.

In an interview with MMQB, new Bills GM Brandon Beane said "it is going to be a competition for every position" including quarterback.

It was a joint interview with head coach Sean McDermott and Beane. McDermott said Taylor is the quarterback of the future, so it might have been mostly talk by Beane about the competition. Assuming Taylor starts this season, he could be a back end QB1 or one of the better streaming options in good matchups.

Cody Kessler will get OTA first team reps in open quarterback competition; Hue Jackson says other quarterbacks have to "take" the job from Kessler.

Despite Brock Osweiler, DeShone Kizer, and Kevin Hogan on the roster, the Browns are showing full confidence in Kessler. He played well as a rookie last season, and he has taken a leadership role with the team. Kessler is a good bet to start for the Browns this season. He could have some fantasy value behind a very solid offensive line and with good weapons on offense.
