Join now >Zay Jones is week-to-week with a sprained knee.
Jones sustained the injury on Tuesday in OTAs. Hopefully it's not too bad of a knee sprain, as Jones has an opportunity to win a starting job opposite Sammy Watkins this season.

Kelvin Benjamin said “I need to be in the best shape of my life.”
Benjamin said he wants to be dominant and let his teammates know he’s “back” this season. When Benjamin reported to the team, he was slightly overweight, which he said was “dissapointing,” but at least he realizes being in great shape is important and will help him get to the level he wants to reach. Now a full season removed from his ACL tear, Benjamin is someone that offers 1,000-yard, double digit touchdown potential.

Ameer Abdullah says he doesn't care the Lions didn't bring in another running back, because he feels like he's a "better player than whoever they were going to bring in."
The Lions were connected to LeGarrette Blount, who signed with the Eagles. The Lions were also one of the only teams to not draft a running back in the deep 2017 running back class. Abdullah is 100% from his foot injury, but he's working his way back slowly. He should be full-go for training camp, and will be Detroit's number one running back this season.

Albert Breer reports the Eagles coaches are impressed with receiver Alshon Jeffery.
Jeffery is reportedly in shape and was decribes as a "freak." It would be concerning if things like this weren't being said about the new weapon for Carson Wentz. Jeffery needs to stay healthy and stay in shape this season. If he does, he could put up some big numbers in a contract year.

Breshad Perriman is “expecting a huge year” from himself.
Steve Smith Sr. has retired and Kamar Aiken signed with the Colts, meaning Perriman has a chance to step up as a full-time starter. Perriman says he feels “it is going to come together” for him this season, and he feels more free. With a clear mind and prime opportunity, Perriman could be loking at a breakout 2017.

Andrew Hawkins is working out for the Patriots, according to Field Yates.
As if New England needs anymore weapons. Hawkins spent the past three seasons in Cleveland before spending the first three years with Cincinnati. The 5'7" receiver only has one season with over 800 receiving yards in his career, but getting paired with Tom Brady would make anything possible. Still, even if he's signed by the Pats, it's unlikely Hawkins would make the team with Brandin Cooks, Julian, Edelman, Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell, and Danny Amendola locked-in as Brady's top-five receivers.

CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco believes rookie running back Joe Williams could be the Niners' lead back this season.
The love head coach Kyle Shanahan had for Joe Williams was well-documented by MMQB's Peter King when he sat in on the 49ers' draft. Maiocco says 49ers running back coach Bobby Turner also remained in touch with Williams throughout the draft process, despite the fact that GM John Lynch had him off the team's draft board because he quit (then returned) at Utah last season. It's clear the Niners coaches are very high on Williams. As a hand-picked back by the new regime, Williams might actually start over Carlos Hyde this season, or at least steal a good amount of carries.
