Join now >Marcus Mariota has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Mariota has seen some action behind Derek Carr in recent weeks, but he won’t be active today. Nathan Peterman should be the backup for Carr as Las Vegas tries to improve to 8-7.

The Raiders have placed Bryan Edwards on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Edwards caught a touchdown last week in the win over Cleveland, so it’s unfortunate he won’t get a chance to build on that for a big game against Denver today. Zay Jones and DeSean Jackson will boost get a boost as FLEX fliers for Week 16.

Kadarius Toney (oblique) is officially active for Week 16.
Toney hasn’t played since November 22, and the Giants are hoping he provides a spark to the offense in his return. With Jake Fromm making his first career start, we’d say Toney gets a boost due to his run-after-catch skillset being a good fit with the second-year quarterback, and Philadelphia can be vulnerable over the middle of the field. Consider the rookie an upside FLEX that has his floor elevated some without Sterling Shepard (Achilles).

Adam Thielen (ankle) is officially active for Week 16.
Thielen is returning from his high-ankle sprain after a two-game absence, and Minnesota is getting him back at the right time with Dalvin Cook (COVID-19) out ahead of a rough two-game stretch versus the Rams and Packers. There is a chance Thielen is less effective if he’s not 100%, but he will be difficult to bench as an upside WR2 play with Justin Jefferson potentially seeing quite a bit of Jalen Ramsey.
12/26/21 - 11:31 AM ET
D’Andre Swift (shoulder) is inactive for Week 16.
Swift—who hasn’t played since Thanksgiving—will again be out for Detroit’s offense, but they’ll at least have Jamaal Williams back. There is still hope Swift will play over the final two games, though he might have a more limited workload alongside Williams and Craig Reynolds as the team gears up for 2022.
12/26/21 - 11:31 AM ET
Damien Harris (hamstring) is active for Week 16.
Harris will return after one missed game, and he should handle a heavy workload with Rhamondre Stevenson on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In the first matchup against the Bills, Harris dominated with ten carries for 111 yards and a touchdown before the hamstring injury knocked him out for good in the second half. He’s a high-floor RB2 with greater upside for this week.
12/26/21 - 11:30 AM ET
Sean Mannion has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Dalvin Cook is on the list and will be out ten days as an unvaccinated player, so Minnesota is surely hoping Kirk Cousins—also said to be unvaccinated—isn’t eventually a positive. For today, though, Cousins is good to go, and he should be backed up by third-round pick Kellen Mond for a huge game against the Rams.
