Drew Lock | Seahawks QB

Drew Lock is expected to miss two-to-six weeks, according to ESPN.

The exact nature of the injury will be learned tomorrow, but Lock is dealing with a sprained AC joint. Jeff Driskel played great off the bench today will be Denver’s starter, but the skill-position players on the Broncos should all be slightly downgraded for now.

Tyrod Taylor | Jets QB

Tyrod Taylor (chest) is questionable for the Chargers.

[UPDATE: Taylor suffered the chest injury in pregame warmups.] This was an odd situation, as rookie quarterback Justin Herbert started for Los Angeles. Taylor was on the injury report this week, but there didn’t seem to be in danger of missing today’s game. However, it appears that Taylor will be the backup today at less than 100%. Herbert was impressive during camp and will likely have a chance to claim the starting job moving forward if he impresses and plays too well to leave out of the lineup.

Jimmy Garoppolo | Rams QB

Jimmy Garoppolo has a high-ankle sprain.

This explains why Garoppolo missed the second half against the Jets, and now it’ll be about seeing if the Niners starter can tough it out and play through the injury. He’ll be at less than 100%, but we expect that Jimmy G will be able to play through the high-ankle sprain moving forward. [UPDATE: Kyle Shanahan says that Garoppolo will likely be out next week and that Nick Mullens will start for the Niners.]

Dawson Knox | Bills TE

Dawson Knox (concussion) is out for the rest of today’s game.

Knox had a 38-yard reception on his lone catch of the afternoon before leaving against the Dolphins. Knox is now in the concussion protocol and must get cleared before he can return to the field.

Christian McCaffrey | 49ers RB

Christian McCaffrey (ankle) is officially questionable to return for the Panthers.

McCaffrey appeared to injure his ankle on a touchdown run, and he was getting looked at by trainers on the sideline. Whether or not McCaffrey returns to the game might come down to whether the Buccaneers can go up by two possessions before Carolina gets the ball back late in the fourth quarter.

Saquon Barkley | Eagles RB

Giants fear Saquon Barkley suffered a torn ACL, according to ESPN.

This isn’t a surprise after Barkley left today’s game and didn’t put any pressure on his leg. The ESPN report says that more testing will be done tomorrow, but the fear is a torn ACL, which would obviously end Barkley’s season. We just have to hope for the best at this point.

Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams (hamstring) is officially questionable to return for the Packers.

With Green Bay well in control over Detroit in the fourth quarter, we don’t anticipate Adams will return to today’s game. Before leaving, Adams caught three passes for 36 yards. Hopefully the Packers are just taking a cautious approach and he will be fine for Week 3.
