Breshad Perriman | Free Agent WR

Breshad Perriman (ankle) may miss a couple of weeks.

Jets head coach Adam Gase says Perriman may miss a week or two with his ankle injury, so consider him week-to-week for now. The Jets have been absolutely demolished by injuries to their receiving corps early this year.

Drew Lock | Seahawks QB

Drew Lock (shoulder) will miss at least two weeks, according to multiple reports.

Today’s tests determined that Lock is dealing with a bad rotator cuff strain. The second-year quarterback will miss at least the next two weeks and will be re-evaluated from there, so this matches up with the previous two-to-six-week timeline. Jeff Driskel will start for Denver while Lock is out of the lineup.

Courtland Sutton | Broncos WR

Courtland Sutton tore his ACL.

This was the fear as reported earlier today, and the MRI presumably confirmed the news. Sutton’s season ends with three receptions for 66 yards in one game. The only good news is that Sutton should be ready to go for Week 1 of next season, but this is a tough blow for Denver, which also lost quarterback Drew Lock for multiple weeks after yesterday’s insane day of injuries around the NFL.

Parris Campbell | Cowboys WR

Parris Campbell will be sidelined indefinitely with a PCL injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The good news is that Campbell didn’t suffer a torn ACL on Sunday, but the second-year receiver is likely set to miss several weeks. Look for Indianapolis to ride Jonathan Taylor and the running game with T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal, and rookie Michael Pittman Jr. all starting at receiver for as long as Campbell is out of the lineup. The former Ohio State standout is worth stashing if you have an open IR spot.

Chris Godwin | Buccaneers WR

Chris Godwin has cleared the concussion protocol.

This is great news, and Godwin will play next week for a road matchup in Denver. Tampa Bay’s passing attack will only get better as the season progresses, so Godwin is a prime buy-low target with September quickly coming to a close. The Broncos are a very attackable secondary with A.J. Bouye (shoulder) on injured reserve.

9/21/20 - 12:37 PM ET

Christian McCaffrey | 49ers RB

Christian McCaffrey is expected to miss four-to-six weeks.

It’s a high-ankle sprain and the timeline has been determined after the MRI, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. While this is a huge blow to fantasy owners, McCaffrey is the type of guy that might have a chance to beat this timeline (or at least come on the lower end of it), and he should be fine well ahead of the fantasy playoffs if you can weather the storm without him in your lineup for the next few weeks. Mike Davis is expected to lead Carolina’s backfield with McCaffrey out.

Breshad Perriman | Free Agent WR

Breshad Perriman (ankle) is week-to-week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Perriman is yet another injury around the NFL, and the Jets in particular have been hit hard. New York will really have to lean on Chris Herndon and the running game against the Colts next week, and they notably have a quick turnaround for a Thursday night game against Denver after that. Second-round pick Denzel Mims might be a strong stash, as he has the talent to step up when he comes off IR.
