Robert Woods | Steelers WR

The Rams are signing Robert Woods to a four-year extension.

Woods will get $65 million on the new deal, and it can reportedly get up to $68 million via incentives. The Rams have done a nice job of locking up some of their core guys over the past week, and this extension keeps Woods in Los Angeles through the 2025 season. Quarterback Jared Goff now has his top two targets in Woods and Cooper Kupp connected with him long-term, and Woods is in a great spot to deliver consistent fantasy value every year in Sean McVay’s offense.

George Kittle | 49ers TE

George Kittle (knee) has been ruled out for Week 2.

All week, the word had been that Kittle would be a game-time call, but it turns out that isn’t the case. The 49ers will now start Jordan Reed at tight end, and you could make an argument for him as a top-20 option with the team banged up offensively. Also, Brandon Aiyuk should have a significant role in his career debut.

9/18/20 - 04:38 PM ET

Phillip Lindsay | Colts RB

Phillip Lindsay (toe) has been ruled out for Week 2.

Lindsay is week-to-week after suffering the injury in the opener, so fantasy owners have to look elsewhere for now. Royce Freeman will see extended action as a change-of-pace option to Melvin Gordon this week in a tough matchup against the Steelers.

9/18/20 - 04:27 PM ET

K.J. Hamler | Bills WR

K.J. Hamler if off the Week 2 injury report.

Hamler was able to practice in full this week, and he’s ready to make his NFL debut this Sunday against the Steelers. The rookie from Penn State is an exciting player, but he’ll be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups for his first game.

9/18/20 - 04:25 PM ET

Courtland Sutton | Broncos WR

Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Sutton is making good progress from his AC joint sprain, and he should have a pretty good chance to suit up against the Steelers this week. Sutton’s official game status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday, with the game having a 1:00 PM ET kickoff in Pittsburgh.

9/18/20 - 04:24 PM ET

Henry Ruggs III | Free Agent WR

Henry Ruggs III (knee) officially did not practice today.

Ruggs also missed yesterday’s practice, so it’s time to be concerned about his status for Monday night against the Saints. We’ll let you know how the explosive rookie receiver is listed on the final Week 2 injury report when it’s released sometime tomorrow.

9/18/20 - 04:23 PM ET

Antonio Callaway | Free Agent WR

Antonio Callaway had his suspension expanded by four games.

Callaway, who was suspended last November, will now be eligible to return after seven games (rather than three) due to another violation of the NFL policy on substances of abuse. Hopefully the former Florida standout can get things together, but he’s currently off the fantasy radar outside of dynasty leagues.
