Join now >The Eagles are not tendering Corey Clement.
Because of injuries last year, Clement is slightly off the radar at the moment. But the Wisconsin product is a versatile player that had a big impact on Philadelphia’s lone Super Bowl title run a couple of years ago. Clement will become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year on Wednesday at 4:00 PM ET, and he should draw a good amount of interest as someone that can contribute on both offense and special teams.

The Jaguars are releasing Geoff Swaim.
Jacksonville is making major changes to their roster, and Swaim is the latest to go. Swaim spent just last year with the Jaguars after spending his first four seasons in Dallas.

The Cardinals are placing the transition tag on Kenyan Drake, according to Ian Rapoport.
This is a step down the franchise tag, but Arizona will have the right to match any offer Drake would receive from another team. The Cardinals already have heavy investments tied up in the position with David Johnson’s lofty salary on the books and Chase Edmonds also on the roster, but Drake’s fit in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense makes him someone they want to keep around. The franchise is likely hoping other teams are unwilling to spend big money on the position this month.

The Lions are releasing Kyle Sloter.
Detroit is going with veteran Chase Daniel as their backup quarterback, and he’ll take Sloter’s roster spot. Sloter should land with a new team soon, or he could land back with the Lions at some point.

The Browns have placed a second-round tender on Kareem Hunt.
Hunt is fully expected to remain in Cleveland, and this tender likely locks that in, as it would be a surprise if another team was willing to give up significant compensation considering his past. Unfortunately, Hunt staying with the Browns would put a considerable dent in Nick Chubb’s outlook as a high-end RB1, but hopefully the new coaching staff runs the ball as much as we expect them to.

The Panthers are signing Teddy Bridgewater, according to multiple reports.
Bridgewater’s name was kind of all over the place yesterday, but it appeared to be trending this way after the Panthers announced they would help Cam Newton facilitate a trade to a new team. Teddy will reportedly receive a three-year deal in the range of $60 million, and he’ll join new Carolina offensive coordinator Joe Brady after the two spent a year together in New Orleans. Furthermore, Bridgewater’s personality is an exceptional fit with new Panthers head coach Matt Rhule. Bridgewater went 5-0 and played very well while filling in for the Saints last season, and now he’ll face his former team twice per year in the NFC South. The Louisville product is one of the league’s most underrated signal-callers, and he’s more than capable of getting the ball out effectively to playmakers like Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, and Curtis Samuel.

The Vikings signed C.J. Ham to a new contract.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Ham is getting a four-year deal worth $12.25 million, so this is a nice contract for Minnesota’s fullback. Ham will continue to lead the way for Dalvin Cook and company, but he’s off the fantasy radar.
