Join now >The Cowboys are signing Amari Cooper to a five-year, $100-million contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cooper was expected to re-sign with Dallas despite hitting unrestricted free agency, and a nine-figure contact was enough to get it done despite the Redskins reportedly making a push. Assuming the Cowboys are able to reach a long-term deal with Dak Prescott, the franchise’s “modern” trio is set to stick together for the next few years, and Jerry Jones will hope a new coaching staff is able to bring the team to new heights. From a fantasy perspective, Dallas is probably the best spot for Cooper because of the chemistry he has with Prescott, and he should be drafted as an upside WR1 at a position that gets deeper by the year.

The Bills re-signed Jason Croom.
It’s a one-year deal for Croom, who missed all of last season on injured reserve. The 2017 undrafted tight end is a potential big target for Josh Allen at six-foot-five.

The Bills are acquiring Stefon Diggs, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer.
After aggressively targeting All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown last offseason and missing out after AB reportedly refused to play for the team, Buffalo is going after another talented potential No. 1 receiver to headline the receiving corps on offense. Diggs, who today made it clear his desire to have the Vikings trade him, isn’t the “bigger” target many expected the Bills to go after to complement John Brown and Cole Beasley, but he’s clearly a talented player that will give a boost to the offense. Bills franchise quarterback Josh Allen now has one of the best receiving trios in football with Diggs, Brown, and Beasley. Buffalo is a very exciting team on the rise, and Diggs’ fantasy value should probably remain about the same as it was in Minnesota.

The Ravens signed De’Anthony Thomas to a one-year deal.
The receiver/return specialist returns to a Super Bowl contender after playing in eight games for Baltimore last season. Thomas will mostly contribute on special teams, but perhaps he can get more time on offense this year.

The Chiefs re-signed Chad Henne, according to Yahoo Sports’ Terez A. Paylor.
It’s a two-year deal according to Paylor, who reported the two sides were expected to reach an agreement on a new deal. Henne will serve as depth behind star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The Patriots signed Matthew Slater to a two-year extension, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Slater will not hit free agency, as New England retains a key special teams player and one of their top locker room leaders. The veteran player typically doesn’t spend time on offense, so this isn’t a notable move from a fantasy perspective, but it’s great news for the Patriots.

The Texans are re-signing A.J. McCarron.
Bill O’Brien keeps the trusted backup in the mix behind franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson. McCarron is one of the league’s best backup quarterbacks, but ideally Watson will stay healthy and on the field so McCarron is not forced into action in 2020.
