Join now >The Dolphins have claimed Trevor Davis off waivers, according to Field Yates.
Oakland waived Davis—who they acquired in a trade with Green Bay earlier this year—after Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, but Miami is quirky giving him a new home. The 26-year-old could earn an offensive role as a deep threat over the next four weeks, but he may make a bigger impact in the return game.

The Panthers have fired head coach Ron Rivera.
Following a 4-2 start, Carolina has dropped five of the past six games, and team owner David Tapper decided that another slide after last season’s collapse required a change. In eight-plus seasons as the Panthers head coach, Rivera went 76-63-1, including a 15-1 season and trip to Super Bowl 50 in 2015. Also, he was named NFL Coach of the Year twice during his tenure (2013, 2015). It’s a bit surprising that Rivera wasn’t given the rest of the season considering what he’s accomplished for the franchise, but Carolina will now get a head start on their coaching search. Secondary coach Perry Fewell will be the team’s interim coach for the remainder of the season.

The Bengals waived Damion Willis.
Willis is being waived to make room for John Ross to officially be activated off injured reserve. Willis should land back with Cincinnati’s practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Colts have promoted Chad Williams to the active roster.
Indianapolis is extremely banged up at receiver, and Williams may not be the only move that’s made if T.Y. Hilton (calf) remains out of the lineup. The former third-round pick of the Cardinals isn’t a recommended fantasy option, but he’s at least someone to keep an eye on in Frank Reich’s offense. The Colts will take on the Buccaneers in Week 14.

Dalvin Cook says he’ll be “good to go” for Week 14.
After leaving last night’s game against the Seahawks with a shoulder injury, the star Vikings running back says he expects to play against the Lions this Sunday. Cook was just sitting on the sideline in pads after coming back from the locker room last night, so his injury did not appear to be too serious—perhaps after a lost fumble he just thought he might hurt his team by being out there while hurting. Expect Cook to be limited in practice all week, but we’ll let you know if he’s listed on the final injury report when it’s released on Friday.

Dalvin Cook (shoulder) did not return for the Vikings.
Cook missed most of the second half after injuring his shoulder in the third quarter against the Seahawks. Before leaving, the star runner had nine carries for 29 yards and a touchdown along with three receptions for 35 yards and one lost fumble. Hopefully this injury doesn’t keep Cook out for longer than the rest of tonight, but he’s certainly not a lock to be ready for the start of the fantasy playoffs in many leagues in Week 14.

Dalvin Cook leaves game with apparent shoulder injury.
On a third quarter carry where he fumbled the ball, Cook stayed down on the ground and appeared to be emotional. The dynamic running back went directly to the locker room hanging his right shoulder, which is something he’s clearly been dealing with all night. Hopefully Cook gets checked out and is fine, but we’ll update you when more information becomes available on his status.
