Join now >Alshon Jeffery (ankle) officially did not practice today.
Two straight missed practices to start the week obviously isn’t a good sign, but hopefully Jeffery is able to hit the practice field tomorrow. We’ll update you with his official game status for Week 11 when it’s released sometime tomorrow.

Matthew Stafford (hip/back) officially remains out of practice.
Maybe Stafford can get on the practice field tomorrow, but he’s looking unlikely for Sunday against the Cowboys. The Lions are smartly playing things safe with their franchise quarterback.

The Browns waived Antonio Callaway.
After he was benched and inactive last week, apparently the Brown did not like how Callaway responded, and they are moving in another direction. General manager John Dorsey took a chance on Callaway in the fourth-round of the 2018 draft, but it did not work out. Rashard Higgins should now be locked in as the third receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry for the rest of this season, and we’ll see if a team claims Callaway off waivers.

Adam Thielen (hamstring) officially did not practice today.
We’ll see how he’s listed on the final Week 11 injury report tomorrow, but Thielen is expected to be out this week and through the bye week before return gin for December 2 against the Seahawks.

The Steelers placed Roosevelt Nix (knee) on injured reserve.
Nix didn’t put up numbers that made him fantasy relevant, but him being done for the year is a blow to James Conner, who loses his lead blocker. That said, Nix has been out already for much of this season, and Pittsburgh will continue to find ways to generate offense with the personnel they have available to them.
11/14/19 - 03:40 PM ET
The Steelers placed Ryan Switzer (back) on injured reserve.
Switzer isn’t thought to be dealing with an injury that would keep him out for several weeks, but the Steelers have decided to just place him on IR. Switzer was mostly contributing on special teams this season, as he only had eight receptions for 27 yards (six of the receptions coming with Ben Roethlisberger in Week 1). The North Carolina product does not need to be owned in dynasty leagues.
11/14/19 - 03:37 PM ET
The Steelers have promoted Tevin Jones to the active roster.
Jones is getting a shot tonight with Ryan Switzer (back) out, and while he is unlikely to have a significant offensive role, it’s good to see him promoted for his first NFL action. The 26-year-old went undrafted back in 2016, so he’s fought to stick around the league for this long without appearing in the regular season.
