The 49ers say that head coach Kyle Shanahan misspoke on a conference call with Arizona reporters last night when he said that the team won’t have Kittle this Sunday, as he meant that it is unlikely the All-Pro tight end plays. Shanahan did previously say they would not rule Kittle out earlier in the week because he always pushes to play, so this makes sense. Consider Kittle on the doubtful side of things, but he shouldn’t be counted out entirely.

Chase Edmonds (hamstring) officially remains out of practice.
There was some hope that Edmonds would return this week against the 49ers, but the second-year running back said today that he’s expecting to return after the team’s Week 12 bye week. We’ll let you know if anything changes, but expect Edmonds to be out this week with a good chance to return to the field in Week 13. The addition of Kenyan Drake complicates things, but Edmonds is not a bad stash as someone that could get a good amount of playing time to end the season.

George Kittle (knee, ankle) will not play against the Cardinals.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said this on a conference call with Arizona reporters, which is a bit of a surprise considering he said earlier today that the team wouldn’t rule out Kittle early in the week because he always pushes to play. Kittle will miss his second game in a row, but while being ruled out this early in the week might be a bad sign for his Week 12 status, fantasy owners can probably hold out hope that the Niners are just keeping healthy for a big Sunday night matchup against the Packers. The All-Pro tight end had reportedly been pushing to play even last week, so it sounds like the Niners are holding him out so that he can get closer to full strength. Kittle being out again is obviously a big loss for both his real life team and for fantasy owners.

Adam Thielen (hamstring) officially did not practice today.
There’s reportedly a chance Thielen plays this Sunday against the Broncos, but a non-participation to start the week isn’t a great sign, and we’re expecting he’ll be out for Week 11 before returning after the team’s bye next week. That said, we’ll track his status throughout the week of practice.
11/13/19 - 05:48 PM ET
Will Fuller (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This is a good sign for Fuller coming off the bye, and he’s expected to return this Sunday against the Ravens. It would be nice to see Fuller get up to a full practice by Friday, but we’ll continue tracking his status leading up to Week 11.
11/13/19 - 05:06 PM ET
Jacoby Brissett (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
The practice should mean Brissett will be good to go this weekend for a big game against the Jaguars, but we’ll see if his status changes over the next couple of days. Especially in a week where some of the usual QB1 options have tough matchups, Brissett should be a solid streaming option.
11/13/19 - 04:17 PM ET
Alshon Jeffery (ankle) officially did not practice today.
An ankle injury popped up after the Bears’ game, and it’s not a good sign that Jeffery isn’t ready to practice following the bye. We’ll track Jeffery’s status over the next couple of days leading up to the final Week 11 injury report being released on Friday.
