Join now >George Kittle (knee/ankle) is officially inactive for Monday night.
Kittle was listed as doubtful entering tonight, so this was expected. The good news is that 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan was hoping Kittle might be able to heal enough to play against the Seahawks, so that could bode well for his status for Week 11. Those that were waiting and hoping Kittle would be active despite the doubtful tag are basically down to Jacob Hollister or Ross Dwelley for their tight end spot in lineups.

The 49ers activated Garrett Celek from the PUP list.
Celek has been out on the PUP all season after offseason back surgery, but he returns at a great time with George Kittle (knee/ankle) likely out tonight against the Seahawks. Celek is in the mix as a fantasy replacement for Kittle, but Ross Dwelley might ultimately be a better option given that Celek is playing in his first game of the year.

Derrick Henry goes off in Titans’ win against the Chiefs.
Henry carried 23 times for 188 yards and two touchdowns along with two receptions for three yards in Tennessee’s Week 10 home victory. The first score was a 68-yard touchdown where the monstrous back showed off his underrated home-run speed, and the second score was a walk-in touchdown against a puzzling defensive alignment down at the goal line. Henry now has four 65+ yard touchdown runs since 2017, which is the most in the NFL in that span; the former Heisman Trophy winner is simply a beast of a player that had zero business going as late as he did in 2019 fantasy drafts. He went late because so many analysts for whatever reason where unaware of how great of a player Henry is despite what the Alabama product showed at the end of last season when he was featured. As the weather continues to get colder, expect Henry to be one of the major difference-makers in fantasy football over the final several weeks.

The Colts signed Deon Cain to the practice squad.
It’s a bit of a surprise no other team claimed Cain off waivers, but the talented receiver rejoins Indianapolis on the practice squad. As Colts general manager Chris Ballard indicated might be the case in the offseason, he Clemson product is still probably working his way back to his usual self after last year’s knee injury. Cain remains an intriguing dynasty-league hold.

Brian Hill records 21 touches in Week 10.
Hill carried 20 times for 61 yards and caught one pass for ten yards in the Falcons’ upset victory at New Orleans. Hill was getting work in the game before the injury, but Devonta Freeman’s foot issue forced him into a feature role on offense, and the third-year running back played well considering he was up against a tough Saints defense. If Freeman’s injury is a long-term thing, Hill should be a solid fantasy option down the stretch for an offense that clearly wants to run the ball in the second half of the season. Unless good news on Freeman emerges in the next couple of days, Hill is arguably the top waiver wire pickup for next week.

The Panthers have claimed Mike Davis off waivers.
Davis was released by the Bears last week, and it’s not a surprise that another team claimed him. In Carolina, there won’t be much work for the veteran behind Christian McCaffrey, but he should now be viewed as the top handcuff and could potentially see some short-yardage work.

Ryan Switzer (back) is questionable to return for the Steelers.
Switzer was apparently hurt on a punt return. Switzer is not getting much work on offense for Pittsburgh, mostly contributing on special teams.
