Join now >Chris Herndon (hamstring) is active for Week 9.
After serving a four-game suspension and then missing a few more weeks with a hamstring injury, Herndon is ready to make his 2019 season debut. At a shallow position, the promising second-year tight end is immediately a TE1 option in fantasy lineups.
11/3/19 - 11:33 AM ET
DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is officially active against the Bears.
Jackson has been out since Week 2 while dealing with a mysterious abdomen issue, but he’s back in the lineup for the Eagles. It’ll be interesting to see how healthy Jackson is in his first extensive action since the season opener, but he’s immediately on the FLEX radar as a big-play threat. Ultimately, there are probably better Week 9 fantasy options considering the matchup with Chicago and potentially limitations on Jackson’s snap count.
11/3/19 - 11:31 AM ET
James Conner (shoulder) is officially inactive for Week 9.
Conner was listed as doubtful entering today with his AC joint injury, so this was expected. Jaylen Samuels should be set for a heavy workload today against the Colts. Hopefully Conner doesn’t miss much more time past today, and we’ll track his status leading up to Week 10.
11/3/19 - 11:30 AM ET
Adam Thielen (hamstring) is officially active against the Chiefs.
Thielen was optimistic that he’d be ready to go for today, and pregame warmups apparently went well. Thielen is back after missing just one game with his hamstring injury, and he’s a strong option in Week 9 fantasy lineups.
11/3/19 - 11:30 AM ET
Patrick Mahomes (knee) is officially inactive for Week 9.
Mahomes is making progress and was listed as questionable ahead of the weekend, but he’s not quite ready to return to the lineup. This is Mahomes’ second consecutive missed game, but there seems to be a decent chance that he returns to the lineup next week versus the Titans. Matt Moore will start today against the Vikings, with Chad Henne backing him up.
11/3/19 - 11:28 AM ET
The Jaguars promoted Michael Walker to the active roster.
With Dede Westbrook (neck/shoulder) out, Walker is active for the Jaguars. The undrafted rookie from Boston College is someone to keep an eye on, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option for Week 9.
11/3/19 - 08:09 AM ET
Dede Westbrook (neck/shoulder) is officially inactive for London game.
This is a bit of a surprise and a disappointment for Westbrook, who made the trip across the pond and will not play for Jacksonville. Westbrook’s absence likely means more targets for D.J. Chark and Chris Conley on the outside, with Keelan Cole also likely getting more reps.
