Join now >Miles Sanders (shoulder) did not return to today’s game.
Perhaps Sanders would have returned if the game had been closer, but we’ll keep an eye on his status moving forward. Before leaving, Sanders had three carries for 74 yards and a touchdown along with three receptions for 44 yards, with the highlight being a 65-yard touchdown run. The rookie running back continues to mix in well behind Jordan Howard, coming in and making explosive plays on the ground and through the air after the bruising Howard wears down defenses.

Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) is officially inactive for Week 8.
Kamara was able to practice on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday, but he’s not quite 100%, and the Saints are opting to hold him out through next week’s bye. Coming off 32 touches last week, Latavius Murray is an RB1 option against the Cardinals. Kamara is expected to return for a Week 10 matchup against the Falcons.

Matt Breida (ankle) is officially active against the Cardinals.
Breida was expected to play tonight, and he indeed is toughing it out for a Halloween night Thursday game. Consider Breida a FLEX option with his usual big-play ability.

DeSean Jackson (abdomen) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said Jackson was expected to get back on the practice field today, and this is the veteran receiver’s first practice since September. Jackson appears to be getting closer to a return, but there’s some thought that he won’t be 100% at all this season. We’ll track his status the next couple of days leading up to Week 9.

Chase Edmonds (hamstring) did not return for the Cardinals
Before leaving Edmonds had seven carries for just eight yards along with two receptions for five yards, as the Saints did an excellent job of shutting down one of the stars from last week. With a short week coming up (a Halloween matchup versus the 49ers on Thursday night), it might be difficult for Edmonds to be active for Week 9. David Johnson (ankle) also remains uncertain, so hopefully Arizona can get at least one of those guys active as they look to upset San Francisco.
10/27/19 - 04:00 PM ET
Parris Campbell (abdominal) is officially listed as questionable for Week 8.
Campbell was limited in practice all week, and Colts head coach Frank Reich indicated that the rookie receiver is expected to return to the field. His presence would be a boost for Jacoby Brissett and a passing attack that’s humming, and his status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
10/25/19 - 04:17 PM ET
David Johnson (ankle) is officially inactive for Thursday night.
There was some hope that Johnson would be able to play after getting in a limited practice yesterday, but this was the expected result. This is the second consecutive missed game for DJ (three if you count the Week 7 game when he just appeared briefly), but hopefully he can get healthy during the mini bye and suit up on November 10 against the Buccaneers. With Chase Edmonds (hamstring) also out, the recently acquired Kenyan Drake is expected to lead Arizona’s backfield tonight.
