Join now >Josh Jacobs (shoulder) is officially active for Week 8.
Jacobs was officially listed as questionable entering today, but there was optimism that he’d be ready to play against the Texans. Jacobs is clearly not 100% as he deals with his shoulder issue, but he still should be set for a heavy workload in Jon Gruden’s offense and remains a strong fantasy option behind one of the league’s top offensive lines.

Chris Herndon (hamstring) is officially listed as doubtful for Week 8.
Herndon is nearing his season debut, but it’s not likely to come this Sunday against the Jaguars. Herndon is worth holding at a shallow position if possible.
10/25/19 - 04:12 PM ET
James Conner (shoulder) did not participate in practice today.
Conner believes he will be a game-time call, but not saying he’ll be ready to go clouds his status, and fantasy owners can probably expect him to be listed as questionable on the final injury report tomorrow. Hopefully Conner ends up suiting up, but Jaylen Samuels needs to be picked up in all formats as a potential RB1/RB2, and the duo might even form a more even split if the starter plays at less than 100%.
10/31/19 - 04:13 PM ET
The Jaguars placed Marqise Lee (shoulder) on injured reserve.
This is more unfortunate injury luck for Lee, who has ended each of the last two seasons on injured reserve. Lee’s season ends with three receptions for 18 yards, as he struggled making a consistent impact when on the field coming off last year’s knee injury. Lee turns just 28 next month and is under contract with Jacksonville for the next three seasons, but they could potentially get out of the contract and go in another direction. We hope to see Lee back and 100% in 2020.
10/29/19 - 03:33 PM ET
Julian Edelman (chest) is officially active against the Browns.
Edelman was again listed as questionable this week, but there has been no doubt about his Week 8 status. Keep Edelman locked into fantasy lineups.
10/27/19 - 02:56 PM ET
David Johnson (ankle) is officially inactive for the Cardinals.
Johnson did not practice all week, and this was fully expected for today’s matchup at New Orleans. The thought was that DJ would hopefully be ready to go for this Thursday night’s Week 9 game against the 49ers, but he reportedly is not expected to be ready for that game either. Chase Edmonds has a tough matchup today, but he’s a strong option in Week 8 fantasy lineups after breaking out for three touchdowns last week.
10/27/19 - 11:32 AM ET
T.Y. Hilton (calf) officially did not practice today.
Hilton was limited in yesterday’s practice, as a calf issue popped up, and now it’s time to be concerning about the dynamic receiver’s Week 9 status after today’s missed practice. Check back in tomorrow for Hilton’s official status when the final injury report is released, but he’s looking iffy at the moment.
