Dede Westbrook (neck/shoulder) is officially active for Week 8.

Westbrook was again listed as questionable entering today, but he was fully expected to be ready to go. Westbrook is in the FLEX mix against the Jets.

Marquise Goodwin is inactive for Week 9.

Goodwin is back with the 49ers after dealing with a personal matter last week, so he’s apparently a healthy scratch. The track-speed receiver does not need to be owned in redraft leagues.

David Johnson (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday night.

Johnson was able to hit the practice field on a limited basis to end the week, and it looks like he has a realistic chance of playing against the 49ers tomorrow night. DJ will be a gametime call. Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury did say that his team is fired up to play, and perhaps Johnson really wants to play on Halloween (an event which does not happen often).

Matt Breida (ankle) is questionable to return against the Panthers.

Breida was injured at the end of the first half, and he’s being called questionable early in the second half. The Niners luckily have plenty of depth at running back, but hopefully Breida is able to return to the game soon.

David Johnson (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Johnson did not practice again today, so he did not practice at all this week. The Cardinals say their starting running back is a game-time decision, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he won’t play unless he’s 100%. Also keep in mind that Arizona has a quick turnaround for a Week 9 Thursday night game, and we expect DJ will sit out this Sunday at this point. If Johnson does happen to be active, we would think that after the team added two running backs to the roster, he would actually play this week after he was active and barely played last Sunday because of the lack of running back depth on the roster at that time. The Cardinals kickoff at 1:00 PM ET this week.

Raheem Mostert (knee) is officially active for Week 9.

Mostert remains banged up, but he’s ready to go for a Thursday night matchup at Arizona. It’s difficult to trust Mostert in fantasy lineups with Matt Breida (ankle) in the lineup, but his presence is a boost for the Niners in real life.

The Buccaneers promoted Jordan Leggett to the active roster.

This could indicate that O.J. Howard (hamstring) is not ready to return for Tampa, but the team had a roster spot and opted to bring up Leggett. The Clemson product is not a recommended fantasy pickup right now.
