Join now >The 49ers placed Trey Sermon (ankle) on injured reserve.
Thankfully, the ankle injury isn’t quite as bad as it might have looked when Sermon was carted off last week, but he’ll now miss at least the next three games while on injured reserve. Sermon had already been ruled out for tomorrow, so this ankle injury will also keep him out for Weeks 14 and 15, at least.

The Dolphins have activated DeVante Parker (hamstring) from injured reserve.
Parker will be a great boost for a Miami team that’s been rolling, and he should take some pressure off Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki. We’ll see if the Giants use top cornerback James Bradberry to match the big-bodied wideout on Sunday.

Darren Waller (knee) ruled out for Week 13.
Waller had been expected to miss at least one game, but hopefully fantasy owners get him back by the fantasy playoffs (for those starting in Week 15). Foster Moreau will draw the start at tight end and should be viewed as a top-ten play.

The Seahawks are elevating Adrian Peterson from the practice squad, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Peterson was just signed this week, but he impressed enough in practice to get the promotion, and he should already have some rust knocked off from his time with the Titans. Seattle has a bunch of running backs with Alex Collins (abdomen), Rashaad Penny (hamstring), DeeJay Dallas, and Travis Homer (calf) already on the roster, so it’d probably take two of them being inactive to strongly consider AD for Week 13 lineups.

Deebo Samuel (groin) officially ruled out for Week 13.
This was expected with Samuel considered week-to-week, and hopefully he can be back in either Week 14 or Week 15. San Francisco will rely on Brandon Aiyuk to step up as their No. 1 wide receiver against Seattle, and he should be started as a high-upside WR2 option.

Trey Sermon (ankle) ruled out for Week 13.
Sermon was carted off last week, so it’s a good sign that the injury isn’t serious enough to have already been placed on injured reserve—though Kyle Shanahan has said it’s a possibility. Jeff Wilson Jr. will remain the clear No. 2 runner behind workhorse Elijah Mitchell on Sunday.

Melvin Gordon (hip) is doubtful for Week 13.
Gordon was called 50-50 yesterday, and that was a sign he’d be leaning towards not playing, so now fantasy owners should definitely prepare to be without him this week. Javonte Williams will be the clear lead back against the Chiefs on Sunday night and needs to be started as an upside RB2. Mike Boone should also see some work behind the rookie.
