Breida passed concussion protocol and is back in there for the Niners as they look to hold their 6-0 fourth-quarter lead over the Redskins.

Saquon Barkley has returned for the Giants.
This is a bit of a surprise after Barkley limped off after just dealing with a high-ankle sprain that forced him to miss the previous three games, but the Giants feel good about putting him back out there after briefly looking at him on the sidelines.

Kerryon Johnson (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of today’s game.
Johnson has been ruled out in the third quarter after missing most of the first half with his knee issue. Before leaving, Johnson had five carries for 23 yards. The second-year running back might be on the doubtful side of things for Week 8, but we’ll rack his status throughout the week, and perhaps more information on the extent of his injury will be available in the next 24-48 hours.

Saquon Barkley limps off against the Cardinals.
Barkley just broke a tackle on a third-quarter run against the Cardinals, but he was limping immediately and went over to the sideline. It’s unclear what the injury is at this point, but it obviously would not be surprising if it’s a re-aggravation of his high-ankle sprain. Barkley is currently getting locked at by trainers on the bench, and we’ll update you as more information becomes available on his status.

Devonta Freeman has been ejected against the Rams.
Freeman was fighting with Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, as the two were holding each other by the helmet. In the scuffle, Freeman attempted to throw a punch at Donald, which was dodged; but the intent was enough that the officials decided to throw him out of the game. It’s unfortunate that Freeman is ejected for a punch that did not even land, but it’s a tough loss for both the Falcons and fantasy owners. Before leaving, Freeman had seven carries for 19 yards and two receptions for six yards.

Marquise Brown (ankle) is officially inactive for the Ravens.
Brown did not practice all week leading up to today’s Week 7 matchup at Seattle, so things were trending in this direction. The Ravens have a bye next week, so there should be hope that the dynamic rookie receiver is ready to go off the bye when Baltimore faces New England in Week 9.

Mitchell Trubisky (left shoulder) is officially active for Week 7.
Trubisky was officially listed as questionable ahead of the weekend, but he was a full practice participant all week and was expected to be good to go today. The third-year quarterback has a tough matchup against a Saints defense that’s been playing well, so he should be more of a QB2 option for Week 7.
