Join now >Malcolm Brown (ankle) officially did not practice today.
Brown is considered day-to-day, and he’s not thought to be dealing with an injury that will force him to miss much time, if any. Hopefully Brown can practice tomorrow on at least a limited basis.

Amari Cooper is dealing with a thigh bruise, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says the injury can be “horribly painful”, but at least Cooper has seemingly avoided a long-term injury. Especially for an explosive player that utilizes great acceleration and double moves like Cooper, this injury might be difficult to play through effectively. But we’ll see if the star receiver can get on the field for a huge game this Sunday night against the Eagles.

Todd Gurley (quad) officially practices on a limited basis.
After Gurley was ruled out on Saturday last week, this is a great sign that he’s practicing to start the week, albeit in a limited fashion. The quad issue appears to have calmed down, and Gurley is trending towards suiting up this Sunday against the Falcons. Check back the next couple of days for Gurley’s Week 7 practice status leading up to the weekend.

Tyreek Hill (shoulder) was officially limited in today’s practice.
A full practice would have been a really promising sign, but for now, consider Hill questionable to face the Texans this Sunday. The All-Pro receiver’s status will be tracked the next couple of days leading up to the final Week 6 injury report being released on Friday.

Marquise Brown (ankle) did not practice today.
Brown’s practice habits hadn’t really affected his game status until last week when he didn’t play after not practicing all week, but he’ll probably need at least a limited session over the next two days to have a shot at suiting up on Sunday. Baltimore’s first-round pick would be more of a volatile FLEX if he ends up playing.

James Conner (quad) is officially questionable to return for the Steelers.
With under four minutes remaining, it’s highly unlikely that Conner returns to tonight’s game against the Chargers. Before leaving, Conner had 16 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown along with seven receptions for 78 yards and another touchdown. After a slow start to the season, Conner has recorded fantasy point totals of 22.5, 11.5, and 27.4 in each of his last three games as Pittsburgh has made him the clear focal point of their offense without Ben Roethlisberger. Conner appeared to be in good spirits on the sideline, and we fully expect he’ll be good to go when the Steelers return from their bye week to play the Dolphins on Monday night in Week 8.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) officially did not practice today.
Valdes-Scantling played through the injury and finished the game a couple of nights ago, but it might be tough for him to suit up with a potential high-ankle sprain this Sunday now that the adrenaline has died down. For now, expect Valdes-Scantling to remain out of practice the next two days.
