Yesterday, Dorsett said that he’ll be fine when asked about whether he believes he’ll be able to play on Monday night, and a limited practice to start the week is a great sign. We expect he’ll be ready to go against the Jets for Week 7.

Brandin Cooks (concussion) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This indicates Cooks has made progress through concussion protocol after suffering the concussion last Thursday night against the Rams. Cooks is trending in the right direction for Week 6 against the 49ers, but his status will continue to be monitored leading up to Sunday.
10/9/19 - 08:14 PM ET
Josh Gordon (ankle/knee) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
New England won’t play until Monday night, but Gordon is looking doubtful at this point, so fantasy owners making a decision between him and someone playing tonight should probably get ready for Thursday Night Football. We’ll update Gordon’s status tomorrow, and there may be a definitive answer by the weekend.

Lamar Jackson uses his legs in Ravens’ Week 6 victory.
Jackson was 21/33 for 236 yards and added 19 carries for 152 yards (8.0 average) and one touchdown in Baltimore’s win over Cincinnati. The Ravens got Jackson involved early as a runner, and his highlight was a 21-yard run where he dove for the front pylon for six points. The performance made Jackson the first player in NFL history to throw for 200+ yards and rush for 150+ yards in a regular season game. While there’s been talk from both Jackson and the team (though the team has also indicated that Jackson will run a bunch this season) of him scaling back the rushing, it’s probably the best part of the former Heisman Trophy winner’s game, and it gives him elite fantasy upside while paired with his underrated ability as a passer. Jackson remains an obvious QB1 next week against the Seahawks.

John Brown (groin) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Brown was also limited in yesterday’s practice, so this bears watching leading up to Sunday. The final Week 7 injury report with official game statuses will be released tomorrow.
10/17/19 - 03:47 PM ET
Todd Gurley (thigh contusion) is day-to-day.
Gurley did not practice today, which doesn’t seem like a huge concern given that it was the first official practice of the week, but NFL Network’s Steve Wyche adds that Rams head coach Sean McVay told him that the team was caught “off guard” by the lingering pain from the thigh bruise. There’s still a lot of time before Sunday’s game against the 49ers, but Malcolm Brown should be strongly considered as a pickup for Gurley owners in particular. Additionally, after stating the team’s confidence in Brown potentially being called upon to fill in for Gurley as the starter, McVay said that “there’s also going to be a time we rely on Darrell Henderson, and it might end up being this week.” Overall, this thigh bruise is a concern for Gurley, and he’s certainly no lock to play in Week 6. We’ll track his practice status the next couple of days.

The Chargers have placed Travis Benjamin (undisclosed) on injured reserve.
Benjamin has been banged up all year, but the team didn’t give a reason for his placement on IR. With Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry, Melvin Gordon, and Austin Ekeler all needing touches, LA’s depth will only become an issue if someone goes down again. It’s unclear if Benjamin has a shot to return in 2019.
