Alvin Kamara | Saints RB

Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) officially did not practice today.

Things are not looking great for Kamara’s Week 7 status, but perhaps he can hit the practice field tomorrow and then play on Sunday. Kamara will likely be listed as questionable at best when the final injury report is released ahead of the weekend.

Darrell Henderson | Free Agent RB

Darrell Henderson gets first extensive NFL action in Week 6.

With Todd Gurley (quadricep) out for the Rams against the 49ers, Henderson got a nice amount of work behind Malcolm Brown. Henderson carried six times for 39 yards and added one reception for nine yards, flashing his dynamic ability on his touches; he did have a lost fumble on a dropped toss, but aside from the turnover it was a solid game from the rookie. Meanwhile, Brown carried 11 times for 40 yards, as he had an effective first drive running the ball inside with power before LA went away from it a bit. If Gurley misses more time, it looks like Henderson could be at least a big-play dependent FLEX option in an offense that needs to do something to get going and bounce back from this 3-3 start to the season.

Paul Perkins | Free Agent RB

The Lions waived Paul Perkins.

Perkins did not receive a touch before getting waived by Detroit. The former Giants running back shouldn’t have much trouble finding a new team at some point this season.

A.J. Green | Retired WR

A.J. Green (ankle) is running at full speed and cutting.

Green has been ruled out for Week 6, but he’s nearing a return from the ankle injury suffered on the first day of training camp back in July. The Pro Bowl receiver said that after running for the first time since the injury, “I felt good. Let’s see how it feels tomorrow.” Also, Green said that now he needs to get all of his strength back, adding that he wants to play so bad and could “lock out the pain,” but that it would be hurting himself in the long run. This further confirms that Green will not return to the field until he is unquestionably at 100% health, which is a smart move for the 31-year-old. Next week against the Jaguars is said to be the first legitimate chance Green has to play this season, but perhaps he can play in the London game against the Rams in Week 8 if not. If Green isn’t back by then, we’d think he’s a lock to be back after the team’s Week 9 bye, barring a setback. He should be picked up in any leagues he’s somehow available in.

Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams (toe) officially did not practice today.

Adams talked about his status today, but it didn’t shed much light on a timetable for his return. He did say that this week is “not out of the question” but then added that next week is not out of the question nor is the week after that; so it sounds like he’s pretty much still week-to-week. Adams did say he’s day-to-day though, so hopefully he’s feeling a lot better soon and can get back on the field for an injured receiving corps. Adams might be ruled out tomorrow when the final Week 7 injury report is released.

Devonta Freeman | Free Agent RB

Devonta Freeman scores twice in Week 6.

Freeman carried 19 times for 88 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards and two touchdowns in Atlanta’s 34-33 loss at Arizona. This was a shootout that most skill position players benefited by playing in, but this was still a very promising outing by Freeman, who now has three touchdowns in his last couple of games after not scoring in the first four games of the season. After basically getting shut down the first two games this year, Freeman has averaged 16.5 fantasy points (0.5 PPR) in his last four games, with his heavy involvement as a receiver helping in these last three games in particular. Next up Freeman faces a Rams defense that should be angry, but his receiving ability helps keep him as a solid fantasy option in another potential shootout.

10/14/19 - 08:03 AM ET

Tyrell Williams | Free Agent WR

Tyrell Williams (foot) officially remains out of practice.

It’s looking like Williams will be ruled out tomorrow, as the team believes he might be dealing with plantar fasciitis. If you have IR spots in your league, you should try to hold him and place him there tomorrow when he’s likely ruled out.
