Join now >Christian Kirk (ankle) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Kirk is looking to get back on the field after missing last week with his ankle injury, but he’s probably about 50/50 at this point. Still, a limited practice to start the week is a good sign, and hopefully he can get up to a full participation by Friday.

A.J. Green (ankle) officially did not practice today.
Green again said today that he is not going to rush back too quickly, adding that he doesn’t want this to be like when he previously rushed back from a toe injury and re-injured it. Until Green is 100%, he isn’t going to hit the field. Expect the Pro Bowl receiver to be ruled out tomorrow, but he’s inching closer to his 2019 debut.

Stefon Diggs goes off in Vikings’ win.
Diggs caught seven passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns along with two carries for 18 yards in Minnesota’s Week 6 home victory over Philadelphia. He continuously beat the Eagles deep, and it would have been an even bigger game if not for an overthrown deep ball that would have made it four touchdowns. Diggs became the first Vikings player since Randy Moss with two touchdowns over 50 yards in a game since Randy Moss in 2000, and he had little trouble getting open throughout the game. The matchup will get more difficult next week against the Lions, but it’s a positive sign to see Diggs take advantage of a great matchup with a huge performance after voicing frustration and apparently demanding a trade a couple of weeks ago.

DeSean Jackson (abdomen) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
As stated yesterday, Jackson’s status seemed worth updating because there was some optimism about his chances of suiting up, but it’s not looking particularly likely. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him officially ruled out again on tomorrow’s injury report.

David Johnson (back) officially did not practice today.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury would not commit to Johnson playing this week, but we’d think he’ll be ready to go after playing through the back issue in Week 5. If Johnson is out, Chase Edmonds would immediately be a strong starting fantasy option against the Falcons; but don’t panic about DJ’s status yet. Hopefully he can practice tomorrow in some capacity after working off to the side today.

Rex Burkhead (foot) was limited in practice.
Burkhead’s status remains up in the air for Monday Night Football, but he may not have a full role if he ends up suiting up. Fantasy owners are probably better off looking elsewhere for Week 7.

Carlos Hyde racks up 27 touches against the Chiefs.
Hyde was determined facing his former Chiefs team that had him playing late in preseason games this season before trading him to the Texans, and he made them pay with 26 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 14 yards in Houston’s Week 6 victory. The veteran running back ran hard and grinded out positive yardage throughout the game, and he handled 27 touches compared to Duke Johnson Jr.’s seven. This was an excellent matchup for Hyde going up against Kansas City’s poor run defense, but this was still a promising performance. Hyde now has 20+ carries in each of his past two games and in three of six games total this season.
