Join now >Pat Freiermuth is in concussion protocol.
Freiermuth now must fully clear the NFL’s concussion protocol to play against the Ravens this Sunday. The Steelers are already down Eric Ebron (knee), so they’re already thin at tight end ahead of Week 13. Hopefully Freiermuth is feeling OK and can get cleared soon.

J.D. McKissic gets carted off against the Seahawks.
McKissic took a leg to the head and was in immediate discomfort. Hopefully the good news is that McKissic was moving and kicking in apparent frustration after he was hit, so hopefully he’s OK. And he did sit up and appeared to be in good spirits. Before leaving, the playmaking running back had seven carries for 30 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown along with five receptions for 26 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

Curtis Samuel (groin) is officially active for Monday night.
Samuel is back for the Week 12 matchup against the Seahawks after missing the past five games with his groin issue. Samuel has appeared in just two games this season to this point, but he’s been limited throughout, and it was recently revealed that he had groin surgery in the summer. Hopefully the dynamic receiver can stay healthy and have a productive final stretch of the season starting tonight.

Deebo Samuel (groin) is expected to miss one to two weeks.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says it’s a strain for Samuel. Overall, this is good news, but Samuel will almost certainly be out for Week 13 and will be in jeopardy for Week 14. Consider the electric offensive weapon week-to-week for now.
11/29/21 - 06:42 PM ET
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer won’t rule out Dalvin Cook (shoulder) for Week 13.
The star running back is being called “day-to-day.” Zimmer also says that it’s inaccurate that (as has been reported) Cook has a torn labrum. Cook is probably facing an uphill battle to face the Lions this Sunday, but it’s good to hear this from Zimmer. Injured reserve (forcing Cook to miss at least three games) sounds like it probably isn’t an option at this point.

The Patriots placed J.J. Taylor on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
A big wave of players unfortunately tested positive for the virus today, and Taylor is among them. Hopefully Taylor is feeling OK and can rejoin the Patriots soon.

Washington is officially activating Logan Thomas (hamstring) from injured reserve.
Thomas missed six games with his hamstring injury, but he’ll officially be back tonight against the Seahawks for the Week 12 Monday night matchup. Thomas is expected to be limited in his return, but he should be a strong fantasy asset down the stretch at tight end.
