Join now >T.Y. Hilton (quad) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.
Hilton has indicated optimism that he can play on Sunday night against the Chiefs, and we expect he’ll be out there barring the quad acting up in pregame warmups. Especially with rookie receiver Parris Campbell (abdomen) now also out in Indy’s receiving corps, the team could really use Hilton. If you’re planning to place Hilton in your Week 5 fantasy lineup, just be sure to have a backup plan from Sunday night or Monday night in case the dynamic receiver is inactive.

The 49ers are placing Jalen Hurd (back) on injured reserve, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Hurd had a stress reaction in his back that’s held him out for the first three games of the season, and it apparently has not made the progress the team had hoped. The third-round rookie will now have eight weeks to heal, and he can come off injured reserve as a designated-to-return player. Hurd obviously does not need to be owned in redraft leagues, but he can return for Week 13 against the Ravens.

Marlon Mack (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.
Mack was limited in today’s practice after missing the previous two days, and he did this earlier this season before ultimately playing on Sunday (albeit with a different injury). We expect Mack will be ready to go for Sunday night at Arrowhead, but his status won’t be official until after all the other Sunday games have kicked off. Mack will be a strong option in fantasy lineups against a run defense giving up 5.9 yards per carry, but be sure to have a backup plan from one of the final two Week 5 games in case Mack is out.

Wayne Gallman (neck) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Gallman is a little banged up with a stinger, but he said he’s played through injuries before and experienced stingers while playing linebacker in high school. The Clemson product is fully expected to be ready to go on Sunday, but we’ll see if he’s given a questionable tag when the final injury reported is released ahead of the weekend.
10/3/19 - 01:29 PM ET
Jamaal Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday.
Williams did not practice all week and remains in concussion protocol. Hopefully the third-year running back gets well soon and can play in a Week 6 Monday night matchup against the Lions. Aaron Jones will again likely handle most of the backfield work for Green Bay this week, but rookie running back Dexter Williams should get his first game action against the Cowboys on Sunday.
10/4/19 - 03:40 PM ET
Saquon Barkley (ankle) officially did not practice today.
There’s video of Barkley stretching, and he did not look hindered at all with his high-ankle sprain, but he is officially listed as a non-participant on the practice report. Giants head coach Pat Shurmur indicated that Barkley has a chance to play on Sunday, but he’s likely to be out, as the team won’t want to make the injury worse for their star player. We’ll see if Barkley is given a shot to play when the final Week 5 injury report is released sometime tomorrow.
10/3/19 - 01:27 PM ET
Davante Adams (toe) has been ruled out for Week 5.
Things were trending in this direction all week, and it might not be a good sign for Adams’ Week 6 status that he’s been ruled out ahead of the weekend. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will be tasked with stepping up against the Cowboys this Sunday. Consider Adams 50/50 for next week against the Lions, but keep in mind it’s a Monday night game that’ll give him an extra day to potentially heal up.
