Join now >Will Fuller explodes for career-high against the Falcons.
After totaling 183 receiving yards in the first four weeks of the season, Fuller caught 14 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns in one of the most surprising performances of the year in a 53-32 Texans win. Atlanta typically does a nice job of not allowing big-play threats to do a ton of damage to their defense, but they could not contain Fuller throughout the Week 5 matchup. You don’t want to chase past points if you had Fuller on the bench for this huge performance, but next week against the Chiefs could be another solid performance in a potential shootout, especially if Kenny Stills (hamstring/ankle) remains out of the lineup for Houston.

Josh Allen has cleared the concussion protocol.
This puts him on track to start against Tennessee this weekend, which is a big boost in a probable defensive battle where making plays with his legs could be key. Allen has the ability to put up huge fantasy numbers in any given matchup, but consider him more of a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 in a game with the lowest over/under of the week.

Adam Thielen breaks out in Vikings’ Week 5 win.
Thielen caught seven passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants, with both scores coming in the red zone. Thielen did most of his damage in the first half, but fantasy owners must be thrilled with the performance after an up-and-down first four weeks. The veteran receiver voiced frustration about the passing game during the week, while teammate Stefon Diggs was also displeased with his role, but it was Thielen that benefited the most (Diggs had three receptions for 44 yards). Next up for Minnesota’s inconsistent passing attack is a favorable matchup at home against the Eagles.

T.Y. Hilton (quad) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Hilton has indicated he thinks there’s a good shot he plays on Sunday night, and a limited practice is a big step in the right direction. Hilton is likely headed for a questionable tag, but we’ll see if there’s any clarity on his status when the final injury report of Week 5 is released tomorrow.

Christian McCaffrey stays red-hot in Panthers’ win.
McCaffrey had 19 carries for 176 yards and two touchdowns along with six receptions for 61 yards and a touchdowns in a Week 5 victory over the Jaguars. McCaffrey’s receiving score was on an angle route where the linebacker basically had no chance, the first rushing score came in the red zone where McCaffrey flipped into the end zone, and the final touchdown was an 84-yard run where the star running back showed excellent vision and made one cut before racing to the end zone. McCaffrey’s 866 yards from scrimmage are behind only the great Jim Brown for the most in NFL history through the first five games of a season, and the Stanford product is arguably the league MVP frontrunner to this point. He’s certainly the fantasy MVP through Week 5, and it looks like he’s clearly the top player to own this season.

Kenny Stills (hamstring/ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.
Stills was able to practice on a limited basis all week, so we’d think he’ll be out there against the Falcons on Sunday. Stills’ status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on gameday.

D.J. Chark has huge performance in Week 5.
After a relatively quiet week against Denver in Week 4, Chark bounced back with a huge game against the league’s No. 1 pass defense entering the week, catching eight passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns versus the Panthers. The first touchdown was a 37-yarder on a deep crossing route from the slot, and the second was a 12-yarder on a corner route where he went up and made a nice catch on a high pass. Chark’s 164 yards are a career-high and just ten fewer yards than he had all of his rookie season last year; through five games in 2019, Chark has 485 yards and five touchdowns. The LSU product could be emerging as a star, but he’ll have a difficult matchup drawing a potential shadow from Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore in Week 6.
