Join now >Tevin Coleman (ankle) is “good to go” for Monday night’s game against the Browns.
Coleman is practicing today, and he should immediately slide back in as San Francisco’s lead back, including the most likely candidate for goal-line touches. Fantasy owners are fortunate that the bye came early for the Niners, as Coleman ended up missing just two games with a high-ankle sprain. If he’s somehow available in your league, the 26-year-old needs to be picked up immediately as a high-upside RB2 option.
10/3/19 - 03:41 PM ET
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
This was fully expected after Watkins did not return in the first half. Watkins is probably on the doubtful side of things for one week from today against the Texans for now, but we’ll track his status over the next several days leading up to Week 6.
10/6/19 - 10:16 PM ET
Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.
Coming off the bye week, Thomas has a shot to play this Sunday at Philadelphia. While the Eagles have struggling secondary, it’ll be difficult to trust DT in fantasy lineups if he’s active, as Sam Darnold (mono) remains out of the lineup for the Jets.
10/4/19 - 04:45 PM ET
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is officially questionable to return for the Chiefs.
Watkins left the game after the first or second play against the Colts, and it was unclear what the issue was. (The NBC broadcast seemed completely unaware that Watkins was out of the game.) With the first drive over, Kansas City is officially calling Watkins questionable to return. Watkins entered this game dealing with a shoulder injury that had him questionable, so it might be difficult for him to return with this hamstring injury on top of that. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Watkins’ status.
10/6/19 - 08:38 PM ET
Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially remains limited in practice.
Ideally, the rookie running back will be a full practice participant tomorrow, which would likely mean he’ll be active on Sunday. For now, he’s up in the air. The final Week 5 injury report will be released tomorrow.
10/3/19 - 03:40 PM ET
Sammy Watkins (shoulder) is officially active for Sunday night.
Watkins popped up on the injury report with a questionable tag for a shoulder injury that had him limited in Friday’s practice, but it wasn’t a big concern for his Week 5 status. You can keep Watkins locked into fantasy lineups as a great option that could be primed for a huge performance after a relatively quiet last few weeks.
10/6/19 - 06:55 PM ET
Mike Williams (back) says he is playing on Sunday.
Williams told ESPN’s Eric Williams that he’s playing against the Broncos in Week 5, and the reason he didn’t fly to Miami for last week’s game was because he wanted his back spasms to calm down. Now, Williams says that he’s “solid” and is playing this week. If you’re planning to use Williams in your fantasy lineup this weekend, you should be able to safely lock him in.
